In the mid 1970s David Soul played Ken Hutch in the cop series Starsky and Hutch along with fellow star Paul Michael Glaser. Dave had a huge (mostly female) fan club, and I must admit, I was attracted to him as well. He was the one who inspired me to travel to California in 1977 and 1978, not in any hopes to meet him, but knowing that I was backpacking at an area close to where he lived and worked.
It was only when I learned that he was a wife-beater that any affection for him had cooled, and I reckon that his once huge fan club had shrivelled significantly.
Point of this topic - do any of you remember him in his heyday?
    If not -
Do you have a male celebrity who is the hots to you?

i believe the correct spelling of his first name is "david".

IIRC, he was arrested on domestic violence charges?

a cute guy, in his prime, in the late 1970's.....icon_cool.gif

I have no idea who he is. Thanks for making me figure out in google that you misspelled the damn title. It's David Soul, not Davis.

Oh and his music is kinda cool, now that I hear it. icon_biggrin.gif

yes, I was a loyal Starsky and Hutch fan. Those were enjoyable and suspenseful episodes. Memories are fun to reflect upon during the show's high ratings. Well. David's real self showed his insecurities by doing a taboo, striking out instead of leaving the situation. He has to live with his actions, regrettably. Hope his eyes have been opened.
