    It's not gay - it's sexually suggestive.

friends with benefits isn't restricted to gay guys only. it was coined by Alanis Morrissette in one of her songs.

who else would you it and would use muscle milk?

Straight men who are skinny, want to bulk up, impress their female friends, hence becoming friends with benefits. Why would it be limited to gays?

Haha, no no. I mean that the 'muscle milk' ad suggests that being muscular not only increases your chances of sexual success but also helps you 'evolve'. Thus, indirectly, non-muscular men are unattractive and unevolved.

Funny i didn't even see the evolve part.

No it's not but when you key in the brand MUSCLE MILK your thought tends to be men and not women.

Men who drink it to impress whomever they're attracted to sexually. I see no gay target demographic.

Is there any way to interpret this ad?
If the ad were placed on a bus stop in Detroit or in a shopping mall in Yemen or an std clinic in Nairobi, yes it would be open to interpretation.

But this is likely a gym in SF, maybe the castro or the mission, so nope its 100% gay, targeting the correct demographic.
