Seriously though, I'd never vote for him, but pulling delegates away from McCain couldn't be a bad thing. I so doubt a Republican will win the general election. But, you never know.

Schmucky as Huckabee is (Schmuckabee? regarding his stance on homosexuals, marriage, church), there's a genuineness to him, something a bit lacking in many of the other candidates.

Well, McCain will keep us in Iraq until the end of time, like Korea.

Does anyone recall that Korea was a "police action?"

The real interesting thing to watch will be the Hillary / Oboma thing. Certainly, it's very polarizing, and I thing Obama may well end up the next president.

    Time will tell.

McCain obviously is the GOP nominee.

Huckabee should stay in because it takes resources from McCain.

We sure don't need a GOP pres again. Bush has done so MUCH damage, it's going to take years to undo it.

Huckabee makes me want to hurl. I don't necessarily mind McCain, but Huckabee is so annoying to watch and listen to. He should have gotten out even before Romney did. In fact, Romney should still be in, and Huckabee out. The problem is Huckabee has deluded himself into thinking he can actually win -- or he's just vying for the VP spot -- so he basically ruined it for Romney, and then sealed the deal for McCain. I just know that NOTHING will make me vote democratic more than if McCain should pick Huckabee as his V.P. I still think McCain's pick will be Condi Rice -- a great choice -- and that will really put an even wilder spin on this historic election year.

McCain presents a horrible problem for Hillary. Conservatives don't like him but they will line up to vote against her. McCain will bring in moderates and independents. He will maul her in a national election.

Obama would likely win a national election.

i agree with irishkcguy. clinton is so incredibly hated by so many (for really bizarre reasons) that I don't believe that she could beat mccain. I think democrats forget the backlash over the cookie incident or the "stand by your man" comment (despite the fact that she did stand by her man).

the republican machine will come out in droves against her in a general election. further, should she win, let's not forget the witch hunt they performed against her husband's administration. like him or not, he wasn't able to fulfill his presidential duties because of the constant legal inquiries. I don't think america needs another four years of that.
