    Hello Friends.......

    Healthy Weight For Women

    * Allow 105 pounds for 5 feet.
    * If you are taller, add an extra 5 pounds per inch.
    * If you are shorter, subtract 5 pounds per inch.
    * The healthy weight range will be about 10 per cent either side of the final figure.

    Healthy Weight for Men

    * Allow 110 pounds for 5 feet.
    * If you are taller, add an extra 6 pounds per inch.
    * If you are shorter, subtract 6 pounds per inch.
    * The acceptable weight range will be 10 per cent either side of the final figure.

    Thanks

    Umm... not really, there are a lot of other factors. How muscular a person is, bone structure. Plus, you are talking about a 30 lb range which is huge.ranging, for example for me, between 139.5 - 170.5 lbs.

    Where did you get this from?

    This seems to rely on BMI, which I thought has been found to be flawed due to being too general to an individuals dietary needs?

    Urgh.

    Weight is a terrible indicator of health. Max 94 cm waist for men and 80 cm waist for women. Done.
    Waist is not your pants size but the circumference of your waist at around the navel.

    Better than weight is fat percentage
    Once one is fit, one needs to take into consideration one's built and body goals

    Im 6'3" so from 5' I'm 13" taller. 6x13=78 that plus 110 is 188 I would look creepy if I were to weight that little.

    Anthropometrically that's considered the abdomen measurement, which I believe is the greatest anterior extension of the thorax (fuck you ACE manual for making me learn this crap).

    Anyway, the waist if the narrowest part on your thorax, and moreso than the measurement itself you need to see the ratio to the hips. For men I believe it has to be below .95

    That's a riot. I'm the same height as both above (6'3") and I weigh 230lbs and have 7% body fat. I can run two miles in 16 minutes. I don't know about many other people but I consider that to be a decent level of fit, all measures of acceptable body weight aside. So thanks but no thanks.
