So, I'm obviously super private/shy when it comes to the Internet, but wondering how much of that is from being a bit shy about my appearance in general.

So, I'm wondering if once I'm in shape I'll just flip and be eager to show off my body online. Did any of you go from shy to not once you had nothing left to be shy about?

I've always been the shy type. I have been running and biking tens of miles a week along with serious weight training and following a strict diet. I'm getting definition everywhere, including my stubborn midsection; however, I still won't take my shirt off in public despite one of my good friends telling me I look excellent after seeing me with my shirt off. icon_mad.gif

I am very shy when it comes to posting pictures of my body as well. I finally did it and now that I have looked at them I am felling really depressed. I am hoping it gives me more incentive to work harder. I would love to have a chest and arms like most of the guys on this site. They really are inspiring me. You just have to do it, post them.

I'm a borderline nudist anyway, regardless of what I look like.
Those who don't like it can go fuck themselves. icon_biggrin.gif

I has no qualms about posting a shirtless pic of myself online. I worked hard at the gym to get the physique I have right now. I'm sure once you make progress at the gym you'll be keen to show others your new physique as a sense of accomplishment. icon_smile.gif

@ paulflexes- Would you mind cooking breakfast in the nude for me? icon_lol.gif

I Think many guys go through this awkward state during adolescent. I know my dorkiness Maxed out in 7th grade . That summer I started working out and got kinda ripped. When I went back to school in the fall it was a whole new ball game. I was the guy the got picked first in gym class now and I could hang out with all of the cool people. I gradually gained self esteem.

sxydrkhair saidI am not really into guys that like to show off their body on their default without face picture. Most of them are not even verified.

    Hey, I'm real, honest!

I don't mind showing my body in pics as obviously you are only gonna choose ones where you look halfway decent. I don't take good face pics though, so much more shy about that. I'm not bad looking, just don't photo well.

I use to be so shy when it came to being shirtless. Hell, I was scared to wear a wife beaters until I was 21. And I slowly gained confidence and now, I LOVE being shirtless. I'm proud to show off what I've earned at the gym.

For myself it had to do with age. Around 26 years old I was touring the country and i definately shed some of the southern shyness.
If you compare yourself to other people out there.. 7 times out of 10 if you have found this site, you are the hotter.
It's very liberating to not give a hoot.

Its Nature, if you have a good body, show it, its not a permanent thing, it will fade with time. So why not enjoy what you have for the time being icon_idea.gif

I used to weigh 275 pounds in high school, I wore thick glasses and I was a major geek, yeah, I was out of shape. I joined the Marine Corps and I had my senior year to get in shape.

I did it. I have NEVER looked back.

Don't be shy, if you spend your time obsessing over how you look and what other people think about you, there is going to come a time when you are going to turn around and see just how much time you have wasted.

There are too many sweet tasting butts out there to be shy.icon_twisted.gif
