Any Arcade Fire fans out there? What do you guys think of their new album The Suburbs coming in August. They've got most tracks on YouTube and it seems pretty amazing. Your thoughts?

LOVE the new stuff from them. Too bad they're playing at the same time as Soundgardern at Lollapolooza this year.

been listening to this album since October 2010.

It is layered and textured, chilling and evokes so much emotion.

Definitely deserved the win for Best Album of the Year Grammy.

I never heard of them until they won Record of The Year at the Grammy's. Now I have been listening to them a little. Pretty good stuff. I am enjoying them.

It's amazing how self-centered these fools are. So many have the attitude "I haven't heard of Arcade Fire so therefore they must be a) terrible and b) undeserving of the win." It also hints at how these people must discover new music. If they were adventurous and open minded they'd be saying: "Hmm a band I've never heard of wins Album of the Year... I must check these guys out, maybe I'll like them." But most won't, until AF's 4th or 5th album crosses over and suddenly these idiots arrive at the party late and become fans. Sad.

Saw them live at Reading Festival last year, they were absolutely incredible. I love the Suburbs though admit I don't have any of their other workicon_redface.gif

Month of May, Empty Room, Modern Man and Wasted Hours are my favourites. Whenever it comes on I just smile to myself.icon_biggrin.gif
