Most recent: Found the local athletic complex a few days ago. First day running I encountered a hot lean guy, early 20's, and he said "hi" as he walked past. Five minutes later I run into him again on the same trail and stopped him to ask where the trail led. He took out his earbuds and talked for like three minutes about the place, since it's apparently a new fixture in town. Stopping that long is totally unheard of for most joggers I run across.

Haven't seen him again, but I'm pretty sure that given the right time and place, he'll be up for some play as long as we keep it on the DL. Which, given the fact that I'm only here temporarily, I'd be willing to do that. icon_wink.gif

jprichva saidThere was this guy...I don't know, a young 80 or so. Seemed like he had most of his teeth...I could tell when he smiled. I swooned over his plaid pants pulled all the way up to his armpits. He looked at my golfing tam o'shanter and winked. Winked! It was shameless. We almost got the legs of our walkers entangled, since our nurses were too busy yakking with each other to hold on to our arms.

I'm thinking of doing one of those Craigslist "missed connections" thingies.

    Fucking brilliant! lol

Fool, neither of you have heard of nor can properly finagle the bizarre abomination that is Craigslist.

Today at lunch... hot waiter would rub against me while delivering food, leaned over my shoulder to pour more water while putting his mouth a couple inches from my ear asking if wanted more. made me quiver all over.

It was the French National day celebration of the french consulate, Nice hotel 5 stars, wonderful pool and flowing champagne.
I just took my shirt off to have a swim (way too hot these days here) and saw this cute guy staring at me, I smile at him, he smiles back, he was hot, my gaydar was tingling, he was about to say something but his friends came at that moment and he left icon_evil.gificon_question.gifevil:

Hell, this happens pretty much daily. The street, gym, bar, Camden Riversharks game. Unfortunately, I'm just such a scaredy cat and never approach. I nearly have worked up the nerve though.

There's this cute guy at work, and we always catch each other with the prolonged eye contact. He makes me nervous, but I think something's there. We'll see.

I agree that its daily, but I being from a small island where you've seen most everyone before and everyone looks kinda familiar I suppose its just a sign of recognising a face and thinking over if you know that person etc....

these are daily events in manhattan while i'm biking in central park, playing soccer, or just walking in town or on the subway or whatever, or surfing/body surfing at my beach place. i'm a friendly guy with a big smile, and it seems to be pretty easy to at least have some fun eye connection. doesn't have to convert to a meeting to be fun.
