Running Log - 15 July

    Good to see other names and faces posting in these threads. Thanks for contributing.

    For me tonight:

    2 miles warmup followed by 3 miles tempo with the guys.
    Not too hot here but dew point is quite high. Soaked to the bone.

    Had a nice dinner out with the group afterwards.

    Ugh - really awful run last night. Should have stuck to the hated treadmill.

    3 miles, 24min53sec. on the way back, managed to squeeze out another mile, 9min35sec. Ran smack into a 5K race so figured This Is A Sign and quit.

    Trying to be philosophical about it - there are some times when you just have a really bad run, and the next run will be better.

    Tomorrow's goal is either 16 or 17. Running early - before the heat really kicks in - should help. As will the great training tips from a new friend!!!
