    Things to do in Ptown
First you gotta join the gym for the time you are there
There's really only one gay gym so they charge an arm and a leg
Call ahead to a bike shop if you can ... it's not Fourth of July or August Celebration so you'll probably be able to get one
The Beach there is great but you have to trek across a tidal swamp ... so don't try to cross at high tide
an alternate is the Deck ... and that's the name of the place
everyone goes there during the day
    get a chaise lounge early
There's a daily Tea dance there and they spin the old classics ... lots of fun
at night are the shows Miss Richfield is a must see if she's there
There is a show I forgot what it's called ... it's a really X rated talent show and is Hysterical
and then the Crown and Anchor usually has late night dancing
WARNING ... none of these places have air conditioning
I swear I must have lost 10 lbs in dance sweat alone icon_cool.gif

It's Province town, MA. I've never been, but it is one of the gay vacation destinations. http://www.ptown.org/Home.asp

The beach is a trek but it is a must. It is awesome, especially later afternoon, and you have to swim in the ocean there. Great refreshing water. Sitting by the pool on the tea-dance deck is, as far as I am concerned, just stupid in comparison. I mean, who goes to a club in the middle of the day? There used to be an after-tea dance later (early evening) that used to be fun at the Pied, but I haven't been there in a while so I don't know if it is still there.

I like The Mews for a nice dinner.

Miss Richfield (Russ King) is a good friend! I've worked with her/him at the Toyota Comedy Festival in Chelsea as well as numerous places here in Minneapolis.

    Great guy, great act!

Did she play the musical saw when you saw her?

As you stated, you've been there once so you know much of the obvious like the beach, whale watch, parasail, water ski etc.

We were there just last week and had a blast. One thing you don't want to miss is classic disco at the A-House. Simply a blast from the past and everyone really let's loose.

Here are a few shows of interest:
    - Hedda Lettuce "Gives Great Hedda"
    - Slap and Tickle
    - Cashetta's Comedy Magic Show
    - Naked Boys Singing
    - Christine Pedi in "Great Dames" (vocal impressionist)

To keep in shape while you're there hit the weights at MUSCLE BEACH Club! Tons of eye candy and motivation. LOL

    Enjoy

By the way, stripe bass season opened last week so don't turn that away on any menu you see icon_wink.gif

Cool! Not to name drop, but I toured with La Pedi in "Forbidden B'way" a million years ago! What a funny and talented woman. See her, if at all possible!

    Hi crazy,
Everyone has said just about everything there is. We will be there in a few weeks. We have a time share there and we go every year for carnival. Much fun! We love it because it is one of the vacations where we can be ourselves and kiss and hold hands, anything we want because we are the majority instead of the minority. Hope you have a great time. I didn't know that Cashetta's Comedy Magic Show was back. We really enjoyed her show a couple years ago. We love Ms. Ridgefield. Have a great time buddy!

You have not gone there during the 4th of July, huh?

I love Ptown....but there is not much to do other than the obvious. It is a small place, so it is all pretty much in front of you. If you go to the other side of town, there is a beautiful national park beach that has a great sunset. And you could do a dune tour, which I hear is a good time.

And for whoever said you had to trek the swamp to get to the beach...if you just go to the dunes, you can avoid that trek. Though it is one long trek.
