Little warmup of about .7 miles at 8:00 per mile, followed by a nice run with the guys: 5 miles in 37:49.

Nice night here---much cooler with a great breeze along the river.

Did around 5.5 miles in 38:56. Ran with one of my friends, and although I was going faster than usual, I felt like I was going at a pace I could keep for a while. At around 30 miles for four days, which is decent.

Constans, welcome. We try to post these logs daily, so join in whenever you like.

Maine, the heat broke here yesterday afternoon, and it was a great night for a run. Makes me realize how much the weather can affect enjoyment of an otherwise good run. Maybe you'll have some relief soon.

Another bad run for me, 6.36 miles in 48min39sec. Treadmill run; I was sure it was going to rain yesterday. No long run this weekend (family visiting) unless I can sneak one in on Sunday morning.

The rest of what? kidding. But next weekend is the half, and I would like to squeeze in a 15+ mile run this weekend...but i'm not going to get all bogged down in what i want to do, i'm going to accept the break and deal with it.

You've had a few tough runs lately. You sound a little tired and frustrated. This may be a sign of overtraining, and if that's the case a weekend off will be just the ticket. Take it easy next week---don't push yourself too hard. You've been running distance at a good clip so with a little rest your race will go well!

4.5 in 38:40. I'm tired of the humidity here, but I'm in love with my new shoes.
