I think so... then again I'm from the breakbeat capital of the U.S. and have been into it hardcore since 1999. Dubstep is just a fad.
this is kind of a ridiculous statement to make - dubstep having been around since near-1999 you might as well say that your interest in breakbeat is a fad too.
i love breakbeat (not florida breaks, sorry, but still) but it's dumb to get into a genre pissing match over which is better, or to declare something that's been around as long as dubstep as this point a fad.
i was pretty disappointed with chase + status rework of nneka's heartbeats, but i think i just hate on anything they do that doesn't match up to still in love.
it's really good to see lorin bassnectar still going strong, positive dude. i remember him being the closing set for buzz nation in dc back in the day which was pretty much the end of an era.
