I should really start saving for a nice little cottage in Himalayas - the last place all this water and whatever comes with it may reach.

Not keen on living anywhere close to a beach...

I do think that in 10 or 15 years, we're likely to see a move away from the South. Maine, Vermont, and New Hamphsire will see a population explosion.

im sorry thats how I felt about it

I would say you can live with me if the island gets flooded, but I'm only 4 feet above sea level myself, so I'll be just as fucked as you...and probably sooner. icon_lol.gif

Global warming isn't something gentle - catastrophic storms..think hurricane Katrina and starving and dying animals abandoned. Watch some footage of them dying and get back to us.

DanielH you're cute but your vid contents are presented as rather vapid and scattered. You'd be dynamite (because you have a nice charisma) if you focused on something and showed some depth of thought and potency of character. Guys like that. icon_wink.gif

Better yet let's meet in the middle at Cuba. I hear they're great at building boats.

Yes living in Michigan I just love global warming, because here while the winters and summers have changed just a tiny bit from their averages, the biggest change has been warmer autumns and springs meaning the Great Lakes have a shorter time of the year that they are frozen over. It allows a longer period of time during the year for evaporation so even in some years when there is greater than average rainfall, the largest source of fresh water at the surface in the world still shrinks. How wonderful.

Global warming doesn't exist, and to joke about starting a forest fire? Not cool.

I'm marking you down to a 5 out of 10.

O no, being from the Caribbean I KNOW it exists... everyone here has SEEN the changes in the weather and the sea level over the past ten years...

    1) the waterline in town is almost up to the streets yearly now, not so 20 years back

    2) the wind used to come form the NE permanently, now its from the SE

    3) the rains have not followed the laws of the rainy season... weve had heavy rains in the driest of the dry seasons lately

So, the question is not whether global warming exists, the question is what causes it, because science is hopeless in the face of weather patterns

BTW i like your name icon_smile.gif

but to say all of those changes are due to global warming and CO2 levels? Perhaps there's a polar shift happening? or the earth's axis is tilting, or some other factor is causing those changes?

Thank goodness you suggested there may be other factors. What a revolutionary idea. No climate scientist has considered such a paradigm shifting concept on this issue! You should get that published right away.

What if the polar shift affected affected everybody neural synapse, making people beleive incredible theories about climat warming ? 'They' say its not possible, but you and I know better.
