For those that don't know, all my friends and a good chunk of the internet are ranting and raving about "Jessi Slaughter" an 11-year old girl seeking internet infamy. She got it, but she paid quite the price. Enjoy.

GO here >http://gawker.com/5589103/how-the-internet-beat-up-an-11%20year%20old-girl< to get some of the story.

Apparently she was on Good Morning America this morning.

I sorta find this whole situation a little bit like a tragic comedy. But I love dark humor. Discuss.

I'm better than you, and all you haters can go suck a cock!
She's funny, and she's just doing it all for attention clearly.

This is sad and sick on many levels.

I don't think it's funny at all, even if she at one point thought it was.

She's eleven years old, for god's sake.

Yeah.. gotta agree with you on that one. But what the hell are her parents doing letting her put herself out there like that? CPS should be looking into that one. What a bunch of lowlifes.

Gross! I weep for our future. I think her parents should be charged with child endangerment. These sort of permissive parents are destroying a generation! Why is an eleven year old allowed to post videos online?!? The hoops that my partner and I have to jump through to become parents because people think we're unfit due to our orientation is even more outrageous in light of creeps like this! My child would never be allowed to get caught up in somthing like this!

Oh wow, her parents either are happy about the popularity or ignorant. This is not what I would have expected off an 11 year old.

Her parents' idiocy aside, what really makes me mad is that people on the internet found it necessary to do these things to an 11 year old girl. What the fuck?? I don't care how stupid or offensive she is, just ignore her, leave her alone... sending death threats and other forms or harassment, that's just sick, not to mention, totally pathetic. What a bunch of trolls. icon_evil.gif

Agreed! But her parents bear the real responsibility. Everyone knows the net is full of unsavory AND dangerous people. To allow your child to be exposed like that is unacceptable!!! Would they be allowed to let her go to similarly dangerous places inthe real world without repercussion???

Exactly. How the parents didn't know this was going on is completely above me. And then their reaction is to curse out all of the internet and threaten them while your 11-year-old is weeping. Thankfully the /b/ mods are cracking down on this crap now. Unfortunately, all this little girl's personal info is out on the internet though. Home phone, cell phone, street address, email. I heard people were even considering sending craigslist strippers over there...
