You've seen him in Mysterious Skin, yes, where he plays a young hooker? It was the performance that put him on the map. But, I've loved him in just about everything else he's been in since, (500) Days of Summer, The Lookout, and Brick. He also has a supporting role in Latter Days, which is worth seeing to support gay film.

I'd say (500) Days and The Lookout are by far my favorites.

He's a great actor, but will never live up to his role on Third Rock.. by far his Pièce de résistance

I'm a Disney animation junkie, and while most people seem to despise Treasure Planet, it's one of my all time favorites, and JGL's work on Jim Hawkins is part of that. It's a great vocal performance, which is a very specific thing in animation. (Sorry, geeking out here)

He's in my favorite movie, "10 Things I Hate About You".

Actually, back when I was 13 I started dressing exactly like his character from "10 Things...", and had my hair cut just like his.

    Heh.

I first took a better look after he played a gay street hustler in Mysterious Skin
and he carried ... in my opinion The 300 Days of Summer

I just recently saw (500) Days of Summer. He was great in that. I'm glad to see he has made a smooth transition from child to adult actor.

He didn't get much to do in Inception, but he lit up the screen in (500) Days of Summer. He's such a great actor.

I first saw him on "3rd Rock From the Sun."
When he got his hair cut, I thought, wow, this guy is really cute.

Then, I saw him in the film, "Sweet Jane," where he played a boy dying from complications due to the AIDS, and I was extremely impressed with his acting.

I really like him a lot.

I meant as far as acting. He gets some cool action scenes sure. But the guy is an amazing actor who could've easily stole that movie from Leonardo DiCaprio acting-wise given the chance, but he wasn't.

I was thinking the same. He's freakin adorable! Also loved the fact he played a gay Guy on "that 70's show". Really looking forward to Looper. I've loved everything he's done.

Nothing is cooler then him becoming Cobra Commander in the GI Joe movie. Never imagined tommy would grow up to get so many great roles!

ya i never really got into 3rd rock, but he's definitely made the transition from "child" star to adulthood with class. seems like a man with a plan.

JGL was really great in 50/50 too,

but seth rogen is one of those actors that can kill a film for me, no matter how good the other actors are. and i think i'd have to give it a thumbs down, until they come up with "delete actor on demand" technology.

I took notice in 500 Days of Summer. He has aged well, and come into his own. He is a good actor. I like watching his movies.
