Assuming you're 18+ of course, and if any of you guys has done it, share your experience!!

There's a lot of my professors that I'd like to sleep with LOL and not to get a better grade, just cuz they're hot, there were some professors back in high school who were rumored to be gay and I flirted with them icon_twisted.gif and I always got A's in the class they taught LOL I never slept with them tho icon_confused.gif and my female friends were really pissed cuz they didn't get better grades if they flirted HAHAHA

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidWhen I was a senior in high school a gym teacher made a pass at me. He was very hot. He looked like a Scandinavian Colt model with blond hair and a mustache. This was back in the 80's. He was always in gym attire but he had that virile leather look. Not sure if was into leather or not. But he was hot and I regret not taking him up on his offer to mess around. I think he was messing around with other students and having an orgy with them. He asked if I would be up for joining him with a few other students to go camping.

No college professors worth mentioning. There were about three or four coaches from high school that were quite scrumptious looking, however. icon_razz.gif

What were you thinking????? You should've slept with him icon_mad.gif lol The professors in high school who made passes at me were totally not my type so that's y I didn't take it further but if a hunky professor made his intentions clear I would've been having sex everyday LOL There's still hope though, I'm a sophomore, I wanna fulfill that fantasy icon_twisted.gif

    No. Why not?

    Ethics.

Who I am and what I value may be at odds with whatever "biological twitchings" I may feel. And, because I am a reasoning, civilized man of character, I choose to think with the head on my shoulders, instead of the head in my pants.

But there's nothing wrong if you're both adults and he doesn't give you preferential treatment in the classroom (in the sack, that's another story).

9/10 professors in my undergraduate school were great people. Actually I can only remember one that was less than good. Even he was quite helpful when you went to his office to ask for help with classwork. Many of them were also quite old. Maybe about 10 were under 50, but most of them were not bad looking.

I highly respected them, and they were more often than not my mentors across different fields. My respect for myself and my education was greater than any desire to frolic.

I'm on the side of calibro here. I've had people hit on/flirt with me while I was teaching them. It was just awkward and weird. I'd rather not have to deal with that. The power imbalance of a personal relationship when one person is grading the other is just too great for responsible professional ethics, and if you can't keep yourself under control for a handful of weeks for the term to finish, you have much bigger problems to address than your dating life. If you're interested in an instructor for reasons other than your grades, wait until the grades are submitted, and then let him know. Even if he doesn't return your interest, it's much more flattering to the instructor if he doesn't have to think "Is he actually interested, or just looking for an easy grade boost?"

I remember in a required professional ethics seminar, one day the topic was about when it was acceptable for a TA and a student to date. The professor began by asking "If a student of yours were to develop feelings for you and ask you on a date, what would be your response?" And he seemed shocked that every single one of us said "Wait until the term is over, then go out with them if you're interested." (probably because he married one of his grad students when he was a junior faculty member decades ago, which a number of us thought wasn't exactly kosher). The only situation where we thought it was appropriate for a TA and a student to be dating was if they were dating prior to start of the class, and even then they need to let the professor know and probably get someone else to grade that particular student.

All that said, I did have a couple of hot professors as an undergrad. One guy who gave a single guest lecture in one of my classes was actually so attractive he was downright distracting, to the point where (given that the majority of the class was female) many of us had a hard time keeping our minds on his lecture. I'm kind of glad he wasn't the normal professor, as I would have learned a lot less if he had been. What I could have learned from him outside the classroom is another matter, but that's not what I was paying for...

That's an interesting perspective, icon_smile.gif and it's true when the professor's so handsome it's hard to concentrate in what he's saying, when you're thinking what you'd like to do to him.

I slept with a TA a few times, always in their office after hours. He was a hot asian stud and he wasn't that much older than I was. It was fun, and I aced the class icon_smile.gif

i had lots of students who were hot for teacher while i was a college professor... in fact, some of the younger guys i occasionally hook up with will say something akin to the following: if you had been my professor, i would have seduced you.

    LOL

I returned to a US college in the mid-70s for another degree, and afterwards while living in Germany I got a strange audio tape from one of my professors, who was very out. An era when being out was still kinda unusual & daring. I remember when I'd go to dinner with him (he's only 2 years older than me), and his flaming behavior, not to mention his jewelry & makeup (but not drag), would have the other patrons staring at us. A fact he himself would point out to me.

Though still not understanding my own orientation at that time, thinking myself to be straight, I'd nevertheless refuse to be shamed by their obvious gossip. And I said to him: "To hell with them if they think I'm gay, too! The criticism of strangers in a restaurant does not concern me." Actually, I'm rather proud of that response now, sitting there with him and being assumed to be gay myself by association if nothing else, considering I was an Army Captain at the time (though not in uniform at that moment).

Well, in this audio tape he said he always had a crush on me! And it's now one of those what-if moments I still wonder about. He was always VERY ethical in all his college dealings, so I don't think he would have had an affair with a student. And I always told him he taught the best example of a classic military class I had ever seen. So maybe this professor (later a Dean and University President) was in some ways more inherently military than I was.

Still, I do wonder how my life would have turned out if I had a gay affair with this college professor, before I went on to make a lot of stupid mistakes with my life. icon_confused.gif

Noooo! Trust that it won't necessarily get you a better grade. I have several friends that are college professors and all without exception would never sleep with a current student. Any professor that would is kinda skeezy! Now if you're not taking their class, that's a different story.

EDIT: HS teachers who sleep with their students are IMO dirty mofos who should have their licenses revoked. Wait till they've graduated at least, but even then...it kinda creeps me.
