I have to admit when I heard "I Kissed A Girl" a couple years back, I thought...."this Katy Perry has one hit wonder written all over her". Was I big time wrong. Hit after hit after hit. And not just hits, not just #1 songs....but biggest songs of the year...and possible the decade.

She is a powerful force to be reckoned with.

Forget that "I Kissed A Girl" was the number 1 summer song 2 years ago and # 1 song that year. Old news.
Forget that "California Gurls" has clinched the #1 summer song of the year.....

and keeps breaking records every week.

It is all but assured to be the #1 song of the year....

unless of course....she beats herself out with her latest song...."Teenage Dreams" which is racing to the top.

Two great summer songs in one year.

    So my question is this......
Do you think Katy Perry is all that?
    Or....
Does she have unbelievable management and handlers?

Facts are facts, whether you like her or not.....she is churning out the hits.
    Big ones. Your thoughts please.

cold saidKaty Perry seems completely devoid of authenticity. Her eyes are cold, searching, vapid. I'd like to throw her a bone by saying she's quirky or a great mimic, but she's so fake I can see light bending around the puppet strings and a clever publicist's hand wedged up her knickers.

Ok cold....so I would I am getting here....you think she has great handlers icon_smile.gif

Ive never heard that "I Kissed A Girl Song"....I did hear that "I Kissed A Girl Song" from the mid 90s though.

I dont think she will have much of a long lasting impression on musical history when all is said and done. That wretched California Girls song may be catchy today but will it stand the test of time.
