I was listening to a video of a company describing the affects of the N.O. Product and describing how it worked and a question formed in my mind.

Now don't get my wrong, I have been a strong believer in NO Xplode by BSN, and I still love the product but when you think about it how they describe how this stuff works it doesn't make much sense to me.

I understand the vasodilation part of the blood vessels, and that makes sense until you get to the part where it says that it causes "more" blood to get into your muscles....."more" blood?

Im not a Dr or anything but it would seem to me there is only a certain amount of blood in your body anyway, then when the blood vessels vasodilate, in order for there to be "more" blood flood to all these areas for a greater pump and recovery wouldn't your body have to actually make more blood first?

Maybe Im just reading too much into it I don't know. I hope I am explaining this correctly, just something I was thinking about. The product just talks about flushing your muscles with blood due to the vasodilation of the blood vessels, but how could "more" blood be flushed all over your body if there is only a certain amount of blood in your body anyway?

If the vessels in a muscle dilate, more blood flows there because it creates a larger space inside the vessel, lowering the pressure that the blood is under. Therefore, blood flows from higher pressure areas (i.e. all over the body) to lower pressure areas (the newly dilated blood vessels in your muscle). So, you don't need more blood to fill those dilated vessels; it just comes from elsewhere in the body.

Now, as to whether a supplement can cause a specific release of NO in your muscles (and not just everywhere in your body, if it does anything at all), that's a totally different issue. But that's not what you asked...

My experience is I getter a much better pump and yeah, my veins are busting out. I've only tried 2 NO supps: NO Xplode (as we al hae) and White Flood (Controlled Labs) the latter being the stronger. I am curious to try out the AAKG (Nitro4) if I can get it over here.
