Interested enough to click this thread.
Other than that, I'm glad her family dropped 2.5 mil back into the economy.

Not actively following the story, just see it featured in the news sites I visit, and on TV. Actually I'm happy for her, if she found happiness for herself. Being the child of famous parents is seldom easy, your life not normal.

Actually I met the young Chelsea a couple of times, when her father was Governor of Arkansas. Just briefly in passing, and you'll note I'm not at the wedding myself right now.

And I confess, I thought to myself, this little girl is so unfortunate to be distinctly unattractive, she'll have a tough time if she ever wants to get married. I also met her mother Hillary, who was very pretty at that time, but it was obvious Chelsea was more like her father.

But now she's grown out of that "awkward stage" and not too bad looking, if not actually ravishing. So I'm happy she found someone, that someone wanted her, and I wish them both the best.

    Meh. Stuff happens.

At least it is not the worst news today. In a way it is nice to have something in the news that is not unpleasant.

I am not really following the story but I am glad for her. I have never heard of any scandals or poor behavior from her. I think it is very hard to grow up with the spot light on you and it did not make it any easier for her dealing with her father's so public indiscretions! I use to work with a guy who would listen to Rush Limbaugh. I remember when Clinton was running for the first time and the truly mean spirited comments Limbaugh and his 'ditto heads' would make about her. She was a 13 year old girl or maybe younger at the time!!

i dont give a damn, but the media wants everyone to watch their news broadcasts and get their minds off the oil spill, but to me i think the Oil spill in the Gulf is more important then Chelsea Clinton getting married

The fact that everyone keeps hyping it up makes me want to hear about it. Honestly I will be more excited when my girl Lohan comes home!

Happy shes married and all as that mccain joke kinda stuck to her and i tend to agree..her mug is messed up....but shes like this huge symbolic figure demonstrating how just by having a name will give you the best job in America even though she might not be best qualified for it. read her up on wiki.

i think it's nice that the girl grew up to be a woman, and it makes me feel nostalgiac for when she first came into the news. but beyond that, i don't really care. if she'd had a private ceremony and i heard about it 20 years after the fact, i wouldn't have realized until then that'd i'd missed it. hope she's happy, but that's a general statement of positivity. i am not invested in the story at any deeper level.
