With reports of death threats against AZ judge Susan Bolton...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100730/ap_on_re_us/us_arizona_immigration

because Judge Bolton upheld our Constitution with her ruling on Wednesday.

Also, Gov. Brewer has realized that the law she pushed and signed into law is likely going to be found unconstitutional no matter how many appeals she files.
So, she's trying to get lawmakers to agree to support the law by making major changes to it.

Apparently, John McCain isn't the only major league flip-flopper here in AZ.
Gov. Brewer is catching up to him fast.

Republican supporters of this AZ bill may have become violent, but what is your tie-in to the Teabaggers, per your topic title? Is there another link here with more details on that? Because I didn't get that from this article. Not that it would surprise me that Teabaggers would go ballistic over this, but is there a story that addresses that?

Here is the proof that you requested.

This link will take you to a teabagger website which urges it's teabagger followers to contact Judge Bolton and let her know how they feel about her.

The website also helpfully provides the teabaggers Judge Bolton's contact info to make sure as many baggers call Judge Bolton as possible.

http://www.resistnet.com/forum/topics/susan-bolton-must-step-down?commentId=2600775%3AComment%3A2440718&xg_source=activity

I think that makes it very clear who's behind the calls and threats.

* I can't make the link active, but if you want to see the website just google "tea party susan bolton treason" and the active link will come up at the top of the search.

It has become more obvious that these tea baggers will resort to violence when it appears that they are not getting their way. Threatening a federal judge, isn't that technically a federal felony crime? As far as I am concerned, most of these tea baggers have shown their true colors and are best avoided. Hopefully most of the American mainstream will see through these tea baggers and vote against their wishes this coming November.

She did nothing of the sort except provide a textbook demonstration of how a judge can attempt to legislate from the bench.

I love how hypocritical right-wingers are. When it suits them they are all about their fantasy of what the constitution says. When a judge bases a ruling on the real constitution they scream "judicial activism" while in fact the majority of the radical activism is coming from conservative judges who toss aside precedent and settled law to further their christianist and corporatist agenda.

Same thing with state's rights. States have the right to do anything they want except when the wingtards don't like what they do, then they scurry to their bought-and-paid-for Washington representatives to stop the states.

It';s shameful.

Shameless behavior and hypocrisy.
The hallmarks of the modern day Republican party.

Have they been taking lessons from the democrats?

One thing I have learned from RJ over the years is that it's the democrats with the aggression problem. Just look at what they did when prop8 pasted tried to hold LA to ransom, and prevent people from going to the Temple and all. Violence. and destruction was everywhere, then they fob it all off with, "well we had to vent!" Their abuse and threats I alone have endured from democrats here @ RJ because I don't behold their false belief systems.

Talk about pot calling kettle black.

At the point that liberals start forming militias and killing people then you might have a point.

But really, you don't.

Being called stupid for saying stupid things, being called a liar for repeating lies, being called a fool for carrying water for your fox news masters is _not_ abuse.

As far as threats, I've met very few complaining right-wingers who don't lie. I have to assume you're doing the same.

When encountering a hardened right-winger - it can be hard to tell whether you've met a cold calculating DELIBERATE liar hellbent on trying to brainwash people into voting Repub - or a not too swift and easily spun soft in the head individual of less than stellar intellect who's been brainwashed by the right-wing media spin machine.

I couldn't have said it more perfectly myself. I am a Tea Party Member, I attend meetings once a month and we have organized several protests. They all have been peaceful and many of the members I am good friends with from the business community. There will always be bad apples in every group though. We have them in the gay community, just look at Larry Craig and then the christian right judges all gays as having sex in public restrooms. What these posters do is no different.
