I went to the market to get my food supplies for the week......I've been on a semi cut....(cutting down a lot on breads...pastas,etc....) Since I had been such a good boy diet wise....I decided to buy some bagels....to eat on and off during the week....I had my first bagel and the rest of the day ...I couldn't control myself....It was like I needed more carbs....I was crazed.....Has anyone experienced this?...and how did they handle the situation......??????....BUD....I lift heavy for an 1 1/2 hours 5 days a week....I run on average 30 miles a week......

I carb cycle and yes, when I do consume carbs my body's like fuck, GIMME. It's hard to stop, but not impossible.

I think your body can be sort of "addicted" to carbs... Sometimes all I want to eat is carbs.... Mmmm carbs! But especially if you lift and run regularly it could be your body telling you that it needs more carbs from all the entry lost during exercise.

Am trying to gain, so carb attack is not a bad thing at all for me. Am stuck at 155lbs, even after eating zillions of carbs everyday. So bring it on bread, bagels, pasta, you got it I can eat it.

Carbs aren't bad. But they're a food trigger for me, so I can't moderate my portions with them. My fitness goals include keeping my weight down so I have to eliminate them altogether on my non-carb days.

Yeah, I just got done with a cut before heading off to vacation in Mexico (got down to 10.8% body fat in 3 weeks!). On my cheater meal each week, it was all I could do to not wolf down every carb I saw.

I got cut going on the cave man diet so no processed carbs. ( bread, pasta, cake, chips, breakfast cereal etc). I substitute veggies and all kinds of nuts and dried fresh fruit.Trader's joe's has a whole aisle of it. If you pig out on a pizza once in a while it makes no difference whatsoever.

Ah man, exact same thing here. 6 feet tall and stuck at 155 lbs for months despite eating like a pig.

My mother and sister are annoyed at how often and how much I eat; the fridge is empty within 24 hours of a grocery store run.

Or how about mini bagels. I though hey get these instead of regular sized bagels to cut on the carbs well.... I popped those things like pills icon_sad.gif

I try not to buy any carbs really outside of bread and rice, basic stables icon_smile.gif

Haha yeah I get this with bread and pretzels. Have a little bit, and then just go nuts. It usually happens around dinner time though so I just have an early dinner to stop myself from the gluttony I know will come.....
