What would be more fun than starting the new year with 11 other RJ hotties to race in the Ragnar Relay Race from Miami to Key West? Each runner does 3 legs from 4 - 8 miles each.

This is a 185 mile adventure-fest that will be a trip you won't forget. Each team member will be responsible for a $110 registration fee (lots of goodies come with your registration), as well as your share of costs for food, beverages and the two rental vans used in the race. Of course, you need to get yourself to Miami too for the race start on Friday, January 7th.

Check out the details at http://www.ragnarrelay.com/race/floridakeys

    Let's do it men!

Relays are a lot of fun. Not sure yet if I'd be up for the trip (scheduling, mostly) but I'll look at the calendar!

Pardon the one-track (ahem) mind, but an "all-nighter with RJ'ers" made me think other stuff entirely

It`s in the New Year (Jan 7 -8th). This is SO tempting! Can Canadian Guys do this as welll? Also, how many RealJockers do you have so far? Are there spaces available?
Could be a nice excuse to go State Side and get a fun workout.

Hey Dave1984...two of the guys above you that are "in" are Canadian. One from Vancouver and one from Edmonton...so all Canucks are more than welcomed.

I just put this out there yesterday...we have 3 confirmed with some other maybes on the list. Need 12 total, so join us. We can always form a second team if we get overwhelmed with responses. The more the merrier!

Count me in! I've done the Hood to Coast relay three times from Mt Hood to Seaside Oregon and it was a great time.

Not a runner, but a sideline coach and encourager, for sure.
If a certain declared participant indeed flies in to take part, you can be assured of my presence

I'd be interested in running this. If you need more runners I'm probably good to cover 3x4 or 5 mile legs in the 7:00-8:00/mile range at this particular time. It's motivation to get back into race shape as well.
