So pretty self explanatory, but I was wondering what songs make you, not necessarily cry, but evoke some very strong emotion from you. I am very passionate about music, so there are a few songs that do it for me, but this song always makes me feel better, and it was the first one to ever make me cry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn5ken3RJBo
It's almost perfect except for the horrible backing vocal harmonies during the chorus.
This particular performance by Stevie Nicks is affecting me a lot lately. It makes me worry about when my dog Sophie is going to be gone...she still has a good while still, likely another five or six years but often I play out in my mind the case where she runs off and gets lost. And she's caught in the cold and snow, and gets scared and lonely, hungry and freezing and getting tired... I cry and fret because my worries and fears are so real to me.
But also, it makes me reflect on life and how I got this far. It seems like such a lonely journey as a single gay man, forced to persevere without the comfort of an occasional hug or kiss or being held. I think love may someday find me, but sometimes, I feel like the child in my heart can't always rise above, and I can't sail through the changing ocean tides and I can't always handle the seasons of my life...
