You're just on the ball with any kind of gay news.
    Kudos to you. icon_razz.gif

I don't see the point. The two gay guys only did what any decent person would do. It's not as if they would be justified in letting the neighbors burn to death. The fact that there was a feud going on is immaterial to this situation.

Justified? How can you really say that they would be justified to watch a fellow human die a horrible death such as that? I think the point the article made of the value of human life is 100% correct.

Just because we all go through trials and tribulation don't mean we don't act when a life is in danger. Specially if it is in the power of the individual to do something!

yes, but the difference is that there are plenty of homophobic people who would have let the gay couple burn.

Would've been nice to read a follow-up of what the homophobic asshole now thinks about his gay, cock-sucking neighbors having saved the lives of his family and him.

Agreed. It's great to see people with good values even after continual harassment.

What you say is true, but I would find it difficult to excuse such a neighbor for going out of his way to continually harass my significant other and me. And the fire situation -- I probably would've looked the other way.

Agreed, if not actually lit the match.

I understand your point but I'm reminded of the topic on the transgendered woman who was denied service at a hospital despite coughing up blood.

Another article said that the entire family was grateful and that the neighbor pled guilty to the harassment charges.

Maybe I'm missing something, maybe a post was deleted or edited, but I don't see any post prior to yours that suggests they would have been justified in not helping. (That's why it can be good to quote.)

The post just prior to yours says this, "I don't see the point. The two gay guys only did what any decent person would do. It's not as if they would be justified in letting the neighbors burn to death. The fact that there was a feud going on is immaterial to this situation."

I'm wondering if that's the post to which you responded but you misread it.
