Like her, but needs to take a year or so off. I just want to take a break from hearing her songs, and maybe have the chance to miss her a bit. It'll only make her comeback even better.

I loved her for about a year. I still like her, but I'm starting to get over her. I've played out both "The Fame" and "The Fame Monster" and i've already seen her live on the first leg of the Monster Ball. The performances for me are becoming predictable and I really would like her to take a break for a while and then come back with a completely new concept. The overexposure may really hurt her in the long run. The Monster Ball is a three year tour - for an album and a half - that's a lot! I have tickets to an upcoming show but I may sell them and wait until she has a new album to promote.

She's talented, but becoming way overexposed.

One other thing, when I did go and see her - I felt like I was watching an actress instead of a singer. The lines she feeds the crowd every night are odd and bizarre and I guess I just don't buy into it. I don't feel like a "little monster", as much as I love the music.

I like her a lot, but there are some things that concern me. For one, she admits to occasionally doing drugs according to a Vanity Fair UK article. I hope she doesn't become one of those artists that get too big for themselves to handle, and winds up dying.

I love her music, do NOT like her. She just tries too hard to be an icon and a legend. Music legends did not become who they are by trying this hard. ex: Madonna, MJ, Britney, Mariah etc.

I also don't like the fact that she uses homosexuals in every way and portray our community as this effeminate group. I understand her stands on gays, which is great, but she is not promoting it very positively.

I like her as a person, but I think someone that talented could make much better music.. it sucks terribly. But hey, I guess she gives the general tasteless population what they want.

I like her music, not her as a person. I find her to be a hyprocrite, and I predict a meltdown or something from her. She always talks about "i dont care about fame, money, i dont want the big houses, you dont see me coming out of bars and clubs drunk and my pants flying off" or w/e, but yet she has been looking to buy a house thats in the same neighborhood as Madonna, and we've seen her act crazy and drunk at the Mets game. Get over yourself please

I do love her new song though, You and I, I think she should make a rock and roll album, and I love her rockin out on a piano, shes got some mad skills!

I like lady gaga. I am a little tired of her though. She has these followers that see her as some kind of god. I say give her a few years to see weather or not she is a true music genius, or a flash in the pan. I refuse to put her on the diva list until she proves she has staying power. icon_smile.gif

I pretty much agree with a lot of what you guys are saying

Shes very creative, talented and artistic. Def. a hard worker.

But take a Damn year off or some...someone mentioned that they wanna miss her a little but from what i heard shes already done with another album so she will still be out there for another 3 years and im really getting annoyed with the overexposure and seeing her everywhere.

Im not a hater...I actually like her a lot but she could be hurting herself if she doesnt take some time off otherwise people are gonna wanna slap her soon when they hear that name every 3 seconds

I like her, but she is getting dangerously close to being over-exposed. I'd like to see her disappear, then come back with fresh new stuff

Love her she's pretty down to earth and not full of herself. Love her message. Love that she brought good overall artistic abstract metaphorical concepts and direction to the mainstream (as are the reasons I was a fan of Franco Dragone's Cirque shows)
Her show last Monday was incredible (minus that nonsense Lady Starlight pre-Semi Precious Weapons)
Definitely agree that she needs to take a break though. Don't want her to end up all messed up like the ones she sings about.

She is fucking weird. Apparently she made this comment about not having sex in case she feels it will suck her creativity out of her. Well knowing the press, it may have been taking out of context or someting but she is still weird.

I don't love her. But I certainly don't hate her...I know only love, not hate.

Her hats articulate quite an interesting account of post-foundational epistemological possibilities...
