I met a guy at the club this past Saturday. We went to eat after the nightclub and he told me that he was HIV positive. He has been positive for 2 years.
Anyway, I went to his place and ended up having oral sex. I received and performed. I literally performed on him for a few seconds and had a taste of his pre-cum in my mouth. I stop right away and went to the bathroom to rinse my mouth with water. I kinda gotta freaked out..I don't know what I was thinking at the time.
He showed me his HIV pills and told me that his viral load was undetectable. I've been kinda concerned and worried about this. I went to the local emergency room in the hospital to ask for PEP. At first the doctor told me the risk is low to take PEP and then he spoke to another doctor that told him that he can go head and prescribe me the pills for 28 days.
I have the pills but still haven't taken them..I'm really stressed out and can't make a decision whether I should start taking the pills or not. From what I read, the side effects seem to be really bad...do you guys think Its worth to start the pills or I should just forget about the pills. Should I be worried about my exposure?
In 5 hours it'll be 72 hours since the incident happened..I have to make a decision...icon_sad.gif the pep will only work within 72 hours..no later than that.
I also had tongue sores before but i felt fine that night and my mouth didn't bother me.

You're obviously paranoid about contracting HIV, so set your mind at ease by taking the pills.

In reality, you're more likely to win the lottery, and then get struck by lightening than to contract HIV from unprotected oral sex.

BTW, I am HIV negative, and I have given and received unprotected oral sex countless times...........................and swallowed.
