it's your first post and already you're trying to start drama... you'll fit in just fine here.

p.s., you might want to read your posts for spelling, grammar, and syntactical mistakes before you post them.

yes, but i rarely capitalize anything; it's a stylistic trait from poetry (there's just something incredibly unappealing, visually-speaking, about capitals in poetry-- and i am a poet by profession). regardless, my responses are still spelled correctly, grammatically sound, and make syntactical sense (except when i am drunk and/or using one hand to masturbate... so like forty percent of the time).

p.s., you is rude and i will cut you icon_biggrin.gif

I'm something of a grammar and spelling nazi. With that said, when writing in IMs and e-mails and the like, I tend to not capitalize things. It's just faster. Besides, Paulflexes isn't writing an academic paper, he's responding to a thread on posts. Capitalization therefore isn't a number one priority. But spelling and grammar always annoy (at least) me.

I have a rule. That this is a blog and not a college paper or thesis. So, if someone spells something wrong or uses the wrong syntax? Who cares? Only the queens that want to attack. I prefer to listen to ideas, Good idea? Cool. Good argument? Cool. This is not about showing off Ivy League educations and shutting down the "others" that do not have that education. It is about debating ideas from anyone anywhere. Ideas matter. If I ever complain about a poster because he spelled a word wrong, shoot me. Ideas matter, not spelling.

    1. this is not a blog.

    2. syntax allows you to read a sentence clearly. if man no take words on yes way syntax person not me see in head the thing about me will attempt to put into the written building but on the road is a certain occurrence for bumpy picturing.

    3. being able to spell correctly and formulate a proper sentence is not the product of an ivy education; i can show you plenty of second graders who can do it.

    4. ideas are moot if you have no idea what the other person is saying or if it is presented in a clumsy fashion.

    5. this is a troll thread.

If you are not smart enough to see what someone is saying unless their words are perfect, I feel sorry for you. Most of us can, and maybe that is a skill you do not have but should attain. But, live in your perfect world. The rest of us will live in the real world of imperfection.
