Lost weight, but finding it hard to gain muscles

    Hi my name is Tristan. During the last 10 month I have lost 53 pounds and have become lean and toned. I began working out at a gym in August but despite my muscles getting toned and firm I really look skinny. I know that I eat enough (I am not in negative energy balance and I get enough protein). Why am I not gaining any noticeable muscle weight?

    I doubt that you are eating enough for your training and for that to create an excess to build muscle.

    Put up what you are doing and how many calories you are consuming. One of the two is out of sync
