Getting the love lines

Does any one know some exercises to really build up those love lines, or the inguinal crease, those lines that run from your hips to your crotch. I know it helps to have 5-8% body fat but i would like to know some exercises to buildit up because in working my way down to that body fat level. Thanks guys

I never heard the term "love lines" before so I am not familiar what exactly you want to do with that particular part of your physique. Please bring me up to speed because I am in the process of getting back into a bodybuilding routine to add on some muscle mass and definition.

That's an Adonis Belt.

Also heard 'em referred to as "Devil Horns", "Apollo's Belt", and "that V-thing in your abdomen".

I call them Penis Lines! I've heard people refer to them as "the V" as well, oh and the Adonis.

To get them: I reckon it's mostly about the obliques. Surprisingly I have a mild outline of the Penis Lines, but my body fat % is relatively higher than most of the guys on here. In my experience I've found that Side Dips (ie. holding a dumbbell at your side and tilting) really target that area. As well, I've found the adductor/abductor machines tend to work that area (not that I'm a fan of either of those exercises when you could be doing squats...)

Hanging leg raises, side bends, and flutter kicks.

mine (for what itīs worth, which is not too much) just appeared.

Well pilates 3 times a week might have something to do with it.

Some of this has to do with how you're built genetically.

But focusing on the lower abdominal wall helps. Instead of doing regular crunches with your torso going toward your pelvis try having your pelvis go toward your chest. You'll need a bench and some way to hold onto something in order to stabilize yourself so that your torso won't move.

Don't overwork the obliques. They can get block-ish and create a wider looking waist. Work them enough for stability and muscular balance but not over the top.

Aside from that, body fat composition makes all the difference. No matter how well developed this area is it'll never show if you have a high percentage of body fat.

Mmm well the pic on my profile is through quite a lot of fat. They still show even then. Iīm about to go on a HIIT campaign so I might even manage a new pic in a few months, i wish

haha: ok Iīll give away the secret . Part of the effect in the pic is just shadow. I let my stomach hang out and then took a picture directly from in front. I īm not "fat", so donīt worry I donīt need physchological help, but my body fat percentage is a long way from single figures, and that I promise you. I just have quite a strong core (serious fan of pilates) so the stucture shows through.

Belly dancing.

No joke. Watch some Shakira music videos or what not and start doing hip rolls. I would show you mine but I don't have any pic of myself up. Good thing to do is doing it one way (right to left) for like 10 to 15 seconds then reversing it. Gives a nice burn... Then doing forward stomach rolls and reversing those.

I don't think I can belly dance, if my attempts at doing the hula hoop in Wii were any indication. This white boy can't swing his hips!
