Uh-oh. This story obviously activated the moron alert system.

As the article you cited notes, it's often on the Secret Service as to where the First Lady stays. And, oh dear, she's taking a four-day vacation, which I believe is her first since the Inauguration. Oh, and she's paying her personal costs as are her friends. Non-story.

Didn't Bush have like 180 vacation days each year he was president?

and when Bush's daughters went to some African zoo, I posed the question if they were part of the attraction using our tax dollars in the same manner...

furthermore how can I take someone seriously who kept bragging that he and his partner made about $65k each and were in the 2nd highest tax bracket..

i don't mind a bit of bragging, it's human nature - but downright ignorance for the basics?icon_cool.gif

A story with quotes from FOX News, that most unbiased & objective of sources. That dares to mention Laura Bush, whose own jaunts were billed as "official" meaning that the taxpayers were billed the ENTIRE cost, unlike here, where Michelle pays for much of it herself. The Bush Administration having been notorious about contriving to declare trips "official" when they were in reality about 5% official, and 95% political campaigning and personal.

Amazing. We finally have a First Family that actually has some integrity, and the hypocritical right wing makes unfounded attacks, while having remained silent about the Bushes. They have no honor and no honesty, nor do the RJ members who post these right-wing distortions, lies and propaganda here.
