Here's good news, that will please most of us here, but dismay the gay self-loathers and fraudulent plants among us. Mexico City's gay marriage law has been upheld by the Mexican Supreme Court.

I would assume that nearly everyone here, regardless of political leaning feels that this is a victory for individual liberty.

I did not use the political words non-liberals, conservatives, rights wingers, or liberals & left-wingers. Interesting you interpreted the word non-liberal in what I wrote, where it did not exist.

I spoke of gay self-loathers and fraudulent plants. I think you just fell into a trap. Opppssss... icon_lol.gif

But to answer your question, the point of the post is to report good news for the gay community. Do YOU think it's good news? Do YOU think the US Supreme Court should do the same thing when the California Prop 8 case reaches them on appeal?

So the only reason you post here on Real Jock is to play games?

I only engage in games with those who already play them.

And is the only reason you post here being to bash gays? What is your answer to my question about the Mexican Supreme Court decision, and your wishes for a US Supreme Court ruling on Prop 8? You curiously avoided that altogether - very curious.

What would qualify one to be one of "the gay self-loathers and fraudulent plants?"

I may be able to give you an example in a minute. But please, step right in, I didn't think you could avoid the topic. Although I suspect you may try to avoid the following:

Do YOU think this is good news regarding Mexico? Do YOU think the US Supreme Court should do the same thing when the California Prop 8 case reaches them on appeal? Do take your time, but do also try to stay on topic for once.

southbeach1500 saidThe SCOTUS should judge this issue based on soley [sic] Constitutional grounds.

Indeed it should. But I asked you for YOUR opinion on the matter. Should SCOTUS uphold Judge Walker's decision or not? You have an opinion about everything else -- surely you must hold an opinion about this?

A simple Yes or No would be nice, and so refreshing from you on gay rights.

Really? Whereas I thought I was here to discuss fitness, and exercise, personal relationships, cars & motorcycles, all kinds of things besides politics. Things I have posted for nearly 2 years.

It seems that YOU are the one-trick pony here. Do you have another interest here besides right-wing politics?

But OK, let's pass on that. Ask your questions, if they have some substance. Let's see what they are...

(And BTW, I note that you continue to evade the questions I put to you about the Mexico court decision, and what you think SCOTUS should do when they get the Prop 8 case. Why am I not surprised you refuse to answer and instead attack with another issue? You are so Republican! LOL! )
