    Hey Guys,

I was born with a flat, Japaneses ass. I know, I know, a lot of people tell me I don't look Japanese, but really I am 1/2. I definitely got the Japanese Ass.

I have been trying to get it to grow and I have seen some improvements but im not sure what else to do. Basically, all I do for my ass is deep squats and some ass, donkey-kick, machine at the gym.

Anyone else have any suggestions for building the ass? I would like to get a nice tight bubble butt so my jeans don't look like I just shit my pants (from the sagging)

LOL, I thought about this when Jer asked about Deadlifts (sorry Jer, I know nothing about them) and read up on them. I did see they work your glutes.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks Guys,

    -T

Thanks cooper for the suggestion. But, since that type of bioengineering is not yet available, anyone else have any idea that doesn't require any genetic mutation?

Lunges, squats, deadlifts will build your ass.

Squats and retic cardio. 2/3 of your lean muscle mass is in your lower body. You can do your best, but, my ass isn't all that big and I can squat like crazy.

    One word: Stairmaster
They should have called it the Assmaster.
Don't lean forward when you use it; walk as if you were walking up stairs, with the side rails of the machine just there to help you balance on occasion ie: don't use the rails as support. You'll feel the burn!!!

I do 30 to 60 minutes on stairmaster daily. I just get frigging tired. LOL.

Maybe I do have a nice behind. LOL. Shit. I guess they gave me the trophy.

    Hee hee.

Well, I'm more concerned with keeping my ass where it is and in it's current configuration. Genetics have been good to my rear end.

So I've been working at making sure gravity doesn't have it's evil way with my glutes for years now... The best exercise I have found is lunges. I do squats and deadlifts and all the other tricks, but it's lunges that REALLY kick my ass.

I've recommended these to all my ass-less friends. Although they've all come by to curse me, they've also noticed improvement in their assets...lol

If your gym has one, an arc trainer. It's situated so that your right arm extend when you put your right foot forward. This motion makes you work on your coordination, but it hits the glutes really well.

Instead of a stairmaster, I recommend the tread stepper. It's like walking up a small section of a down escalator. Same thing applies: stand up straight, use the rails only for balance, not to support yourself. Then in the cool down phase, as the stepper is at a slow speed, you can do a kick-back motion to work your glutes some more when you extend your leg and to the back.

A core exercise you can do is to get on the floor on your back, your shoulders and arms resting on the floor, your feet flat on the floor so that your knees are bent. Engage your abdominals, and then keeping your arms and shoulders on the floor, contract your glutes and pull your hips up and off the floor, then hold at the top for as long as you can.

    For general Glutes Bulk:

Lunges ( ok to do without weight for beginners)
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunge_%28exercise%29

    Full Squats
    http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/GluteusMaximus/BBFullSquat.html

    Leg Presses
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leg_press

    Romanian Deadlifts
    http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/OlympicLifts/RomanianDeadlift.html

    For shape and definition:
Stair climber (20 mins), try not to use the handles in intervals.

    Transverse Abduction Machine

Prepare yourself for something quite dreadful, if you're really committing to getting your ass bulked up. The exercises listed above are not for the faint of the heart. They will hurt in ways I can not describe even when you're not doing heavy weights. At least for a first few weeks.

    Have fun.
