Today I finished work earlier, because the restaurant was empty. Having extra time, I couldn't resist stoping in a shoes boutique. I don't need shoes, I have pleeeenty of thems, I just got two new pairs last week, but I just CAN'T resist. And there was this 70% off sale. It would've been crazy not to go.

I bought ONE pair of shoes, they're pretty nice. But I knew I shouldn't. I need my money right now, and it stupid to waste it in a 15th pair of shoes. But hey, I'm human after all.

Soooo I get out of the boutique with my white little box, and walk to the metro. I'm happy. I walk down the stairs, slip on a water puddle, drop my MP3 player on the floor and dislocate my shoulder.

    Thanks karma !

I don't really believe in karma, but some funny coincidences like that often happens to everyone. Did you ever experience something like that ?

lol, that's tragic, but I don't think it's karma. Your purchase made you and the shopkeeper happy.

Perhaps (re: karma) if you hadn't slipped in that puddle you might have slipped on the platform and ended up under the train, if you want to consider synchronicity.
Or perhaps by doing what you did and posting here, you'll make some sympathetic friends in which one thing may lead to another and you get introduced by them to someone who lives in your neighbourhood and they come by to see how you're doing with that shoulder and......!!

You see, it all depends on what lens you choose to view it through. icon_wink.gif

Haha I guess that's called seeing the good sides of things. I often look at events that way, I mean even when bad things happen, when things don't work as planned, I see it like an opportunity to think about or make something even better.

But still, everything you said was kinda hypothetic. I mean, no one knows if I'd die under the train if I hadn't slipped on that puddle, or if I'm gonna make some sympathetic friends by posting this (and apparently it won't be the case with viveutvivas icon_razz.gif). I prefer relying on what actually happened great after the event. Not what COULD have happened. There's too much possibilities on the hypothetic side haha...
