Numbing pain on forearm

When I'm doing curls or other arm workouts with heavy weights, I often get a twinge of "numbing" pain running through my forearm. It's more of an uncomfortable feeling than a pain. It also usually only happens on my right arm.

Any idea what would cause this? Am I lifting a weight that's too heavy for me?

    Thanks,
    James

Ask your doctor to check you for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS). If that's all it is, you should be able to get him or her to prescribe you some massage and stretches to help clear it up. If it's a neurological issue, then your doc will tell you what next steps you'll need to take. I hope it's just TOS caused by tight muscles.
