For the past week and a half, I haven't been able to orgasm when jacking off. I'm used to jacking off two to three times a day.

I get to mid to climax but nothing further happens and after a few mins. of tense jacking, my muscle give out and fatigue sets in. I then try again... and again... and again--nothing happens.

I can't even get off with my dildo... it usually does the trick almost immediately.

Today I was watching my bestest best porn, I had my dildo far up in me, and I had one of those back massagers on my dick and nuts... vibrating at full speed. The same thing happened: nothing! My balls are going to burst! They hurt.icon_cry.gif

Has this happened to anyone before?

viveutvivas saidMedications can do this, and so can anxiety.

I am having my meds adjusted. I didn't think this particular med did this.

So you are on some meds? I've been on some that either prevented me from getting hard, or else from reaching an orgasm (cumming) when I was hard.

And I told my doctors this was a no-go, and to prescribe something else for me, or nothing at all. And it sometimes took over a month after I stopped some of these meds for me to get back to normal.

Mostly they were anti-depressants, as part of my epilepsy treatment. And some were the different anti-convulsants they were trying on me. I was told about 60% of people with my form of epilepsy suffer from depression, so they just fed me these things.

And I told this one VA doctor: "You know, the worst way to make a man depressed is by making him impotent. So I'm not taking any more of your stupid anti-depressants!" And he looked at me all shocked at my defiance, but I never took another of those pills again, nor will I.

At 61 I can still get hard as a rock, maybe not for not as long as I once did, and I'm a little smaller than I once was, but I can do it without Viagra or anything else to this day. Just so long as I don't take a bunch of stupid meds I don't likely need anyway.

I would recommend that anyone here in a similar situation take charge of their medical care, and not accept impotence, or poor sexual performance. There are options, if you will demand them.

I took a "medication holiday" for a year to see how well I could do without my meds. My doctors and I decided I wasn't quite ready to go off of my anti-depressants yet--but I don't need as much medication as before.

Moreover, because I need less medication, I haven't been sleeping much this past month. 2-4 hours a night. I'm kinda tired and that might be causing me problems too.

My doctor is still experimenting to find the right dosage. In the mean time... I can't cum and I am very sad.... and fucking horny all the time! lol

I'm sorry to hear you're still looking for the right solution. I insist that my doctors work with me -- I don't work for them. Any who don't cooperate, or fail to get results, I fire. They are MY doctors, and I expect to see improvements, or at least credible answers. If not, out they go.

They work for ME, not the other way around. I am intimidated by no one, be they a doctor or anything else. I pay for your service, and I expect good service in return.

I hope you're in the hands of a good doctor, who is willing to work with you. But if you should ever feel you're not, don't be bullied or intimidated. The PATIENT is in charge, meaning YOU, and you take control of your own care. Never lose sight of that.

Oh, no worries, I'm not intimited by him. He is one of the best psychiatrist in the state. I've seen him for 8 years--he's tried 15 different medications before finding the right one. I'm a very difficult case. lol

He never gave up on me, and I never gave up on him. I realize how difficult it is to find the correct medication.

But we had found the right one several years ago... and I just took a med holiday to see if I still needed them... which I do.at this point. Hopefully in five years I'll be off of them completely as my situtatin is not 100% a chemical imbalance.

You say you're jerking off 2-3 times a day? Maybe your balls can't keep up with sperm production. Try going cold turkey for about 3 days or longer - if you can - and I am sure you'll have a mind-blowing orgasm.

I would say wait too. I just got out of the hospital (appendicitis) and back from my parents. I hadn't gotten off for 6 days, which is basically forever for me. Needless to say, when I got back to my place, I got off 4 times that day/night.

It's been a month now since I've see that pearly white gold shoot out of my hard dick.

I still can't cum. I've tried almost everyday... I'm used to jacking off at least 2-3 times a day. But now I'm ready to throw away my porn collection, cut off my balls and dick and become transgender! lol I'm seriously going nuts.

A medication I am on for depression can cause anorgasmia--but i'm still horny as hell... it's not affecting my libido.

I don't know what to do--I'm not sure what my psychiartist can do either... but I see him in a week.

Sorry I just need to vent.

I think the most likely explanation is you've used all your orgasms up. That's what happens when you jerk 2-3 times a day, you only get a limited number of orgasms in your life you know!

    Seriously though...
The meds your on for depression are the issue, try and switch them.

I think there's a very high chance that you're getting hit with a side effect of your anti-depressant. Talk to your psychiatrist (and to a good pharmacist, if you have one). They may recommend backing off the dose of medicine, or possibly adding something like wellbutrin to the mix. (In some cases it helps with SSRI or SNRI induced anorgasmia. Good luck. Should be epic when this problem is resolved. Post video. icon_twisted.gif

Thanks you for the advice everyone!

The only thing is... I'm not on an SSRI or SNRI--I'm on an MAOI Inhibitor. My 'case' isn't a normal one.icon_sad.gif

I've actually tried Wellbutrin--didn't work and plus my blood preasure went sky high lol. I also tried 14 other anti-depressants and mood stablizers. icon_eek.gif

However, this MAOI Inhibitor works miracles for me! I'm so much better. It's just... I hope I don't have to choose between a stable state of mental health and orgasms. I will talk with my psychiartist--I see him September 2nd.

Man, I feel like a sexually frustrastrated woman who never orgasms during sex!icon_redface.gificon_razz.gif

I'm on anti depressants and experience the same thing when I with someone. My advice is to give your body a rest with the jerking off and things will correct themselves.

Plus you're putting too much pressure on yourself to cum that it's sabotaging the orgasm. Just enjoy the feelings throughout the rest of your body and the cum will come.icon_lol.gif
