I've been having a pretty bad problem for a few months now... everything will be fine for a little while, but then all the sudden i get really bad constipation. it lasts for weeks, or even more than a month, and i'm nervous as to how it's going to affect me for the rest of my life (i'm a bottom).

earlier this year, during the winter, i knew i was going to have sex with someone i was seeing at the time, so i did an enema beforehand and we had sex that night and it was great. after that, though, i couldn't have any "movements" and my doctor just said to take stool softeners and suppositories to 'attack it from both ends' until it works again.

i was nervous because it doesn't seem natural to just do that. but it ended up working, and everything seemed fine. a couple months later, when my same friend's birthday was coming up and he wanted to hang out, i thought we were going to have sex that night. i did an enema, but we didn't have sex.

this time, i was constipated for a month and a half. nothing going on down there, unless i took something. i've gotten scared that my body would get hooked on laxatives, so i stopped taking them, and started eating only vegetables and drinking green juices and healthy stuff.

it worked, for awhile, but now that i'm incorporating meat back into my diet, and other foods i normally eat, magically nothings moving again. i just changed jobs, so i dont have insurance for a month, but wanted to see if anyone here knew any answers, or any resources i could turn to. any help would be appreciated, because i'm really freaking out that i'm never going to be able to have sex ever again.

I was going to say "oh blow it out your ass!"
But this sounds a bit more serious just a few days without shitting.
I doubt you're going to find the help you need here. Get back to a doctor ASAP, and go to a different one this time. A specialist would probably be your best bet.

i dont think its connected to being a bottom honestly, my sister had this problem when she was a teenager she could not shit! we went to the doc and they took an x ray of her and u could see all of it backed up, it was kind of cool to tell her she's full of shit. but really im sure ull be fine just go see ur doc and he'll probably give u that nasty tasting liquid medicine that makes u go BOOM! icon_smile.gif

It seems your bouts of constipation are always preceded with enema use as a prep for anal sex. Since you didn't actually have anal sex both times you got constipated, I conclude that it is the enema use that is depriving you of the ability to go boom boom for long periods of time. That being said, you have a couple of options.

One, you can avoid practicing anal as a sexual activity, making your use of enemas before sex unnecessary.

And two, you can find a different way of purging your rectum before anal that doesn't have the side effect of long term constipation.

Regardless of what you do in the future regarding sexual practice, I recommend that you see a proctologist about your current problem in order to gain insight from a professional.

Thanks for your replies icon_smile.gif much appreciated!!

I just started a new job a couple weeks ago, and my insurance doesn't kick in until I've been employed for a month, so I'm counting down those days, they can't go fast enough!! I'd never known that a proctologist did that type of work until Dragoonxi mentioned it, and now that I've googled it and read about what they do, I feel much better and know that I'll be okay eventually!!

    you guys are awesome icon_smile.gif
