Over one million fish and thousands of alligators, turtles, dolphins and other river wildlife are floating dead in numerous Bolivian rivers in the three eastern/southern departments of Santa Cruz, Beni and Tarija. The extreme cold front that hit Bolivia in mid-July caused water temperatures to dip below the minimum temperatures river life can tolerate. As a consequence, rivers, lakes, lagoons and fisheries are brimming with decomposing fish and other creatures.

The bible isn't the only, or even the first, to suggest the rather obvious truth--The way we live our lives on this world is not meant to last. Random chance and our own stupidy can easily take our world out from under us. Just look at the diseases that kill their hosts--the virus or bacteria was going about doing its thing, trying to survive.. and then the toxins it builds up, or the changes in the environment itself, whipe it out.. and sometimes take the whole ecosystem with them. True for bacteria.. true for us.

Nah man, we just wouldnt hear about it before... Iv seen statistical analyses of ecological disasters, past and present, showing that the number of disasters has remained the same, but the speed of news coverage has become so fast now that we get them all on our screen these days, whereas before we would never hear of the things happening on the other side of the globe

But according to Rush and Lonesome Rhodes Beck, the threat of global warming is an Obama administration scam.

I would like to see a few links to the statistical analyses that you've seen, as it's a rather bold comment that you're making.
