    as i go i plan to post pics every week and post almost daily talking about my workouts and different things that i want to talk about hope i get a lot of people to check it out and comment on my post to give me support and any advice that i could use to further develop myself.

    It's nice to see someone with a goal and all, but dig through some of the fitness articles/threads for some decent training advice.

    I say this because after seeing your goal of adding 20-40lbs of lean muscle and also leaning up, I can say that your methods might not get you there, or if it does it'll taking longer than it should.

    Start with cleaning out your diet, with your current pic I'd say you're roughly 18-20% bodyfat, and given your (presumably anglo-saxon) background, I'd recommend staying away from breads and grains like the plague until you're at least at 10%.

    Also cut out your running, but if you enjoy the feel of it, go for interval training instead. Also doing 50-80 push ups each night will jut fatigue you and not give your pectoral muscles a chance to recover and I doubt it's much of an overload for you anyway.
