OK, I've done everything to eat more. I used to eat 1600 kcals a day and be full. Now EVERYDAY I've added 1 cup of yogurt, 2 glasses of fat free milk, 2 eggs, 4 cubes of tofu (=32 g protein), and lots of fruits like berries and cherries (because I was raised on eating veggies and fruits). I go on for about 1 month with some aching everyday (because my stomach is so full) and burping all the time...

And the freaking Wii Fit scale tells me I've gained 0.5 pounds only!icon_evil.gif

I just got some protein fruit punch so maybe that'll work. (I cannot stand protein shakes--wasn't raised on gooey/milky stuff)

    Any suggestions?

Morph+ Protein Shots -- got mine at GNC.
45g protein each, and tastes like a thick chalky fruit punch drink.
Pop it open, slam it, gain muscle weight.
They come in a package of 6, for about 20 bucks.

g1 at 35 your metabolism should be slowing. Make sure you don't have any absorption problems, Ie: celiac wheat intolerence, lactose milk dairy or something more serious like Chron's disease. See a real MD.. Dr of gastrology to rule it out before you waste money on supplements and trying to over eat.

Rowing ant- you must not be doing enough cardio and weight lifting to burn and build your muscles. imho.

That is not the answer! It hasent helped u gain pec muscle and you look thick in the middle????

There is no quick fix supplement-if you juice /roids it's unhealthy and cheating in my book. Eat right train hard and gains will come. I used to add a little whey protein to my diet but not anymore. I do it with good food.

Um, I'm pretty sure I don't have malabsoprtion or IBD--I don't have diarrhea or bloody stools, and last time I donated blood my Hct was 50. I might have some intolerance to gluten (since rice-based products tend to go better with my stomach than wheat) and I definitely have lactose intolerance, hence the Lactaid.

Go on a Celiac diet for a month or two and see if that helps. It can't hurt anything, right?

1600 calories per day is nothing like enough to put on weight. You sound like you are on a weight loss diet.

Men needs at least 2500 per day to put on weight, more if you are doing any sort of weight lifting. There's no way you can put on weight with the food you're currently consuming.

All that fibre you're eating, no wonder your tummy hurts.

What about meat? Bread? ie, carbohydrates?

Can't stand bread (except really fresh croissants). I do eat quite a bit of meat and fish (and now the 2 eggs and tofu) so I think I'm hitting at least 120g/day of protein.
Anybody has any experience with shrimp (lots of cholesterol, I know, but so are eggs)?
