The right-handed conspiracy

I think it's a disgrace that in this day and age left-handed people have to suffer discrimination from right-handed people. If it's not scissors or microwave doors that will only open one PARTICULAR way then it's zips and ironing boards that are designed purely for right-handed people.

Where will it all end? I blame the government. They should be passing legislation to outlaw left-handed discrimination.

Maybe I'll start my own community forum. But I'd have to make sure that members were verified in their left-handedness (is that a word?).

Hey you don't have it all that bad- studies have shown left handed men who attended college end up richer financially than right handed men. Plus you can play baseball better. So there....

I think lefties should all be rounded up and put on an island somewhere in the middle of the Pacific. They bring chaos to order and are the downfall of society.

Actually the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body and the right side controls the left side. This makes left-handed people the only ones in their right mind icon_eek.gif

Well fitguymike, most lefties are still left brain dominant.

Actually red, I think it's an attractive feature. There's a number of lefties in the family -- about 1/2 my dad's cousins are left handed. Unfortunately I'm not, but often wish I was -- just something to make one a little more uniqueicon_wink.gif

I can actually write with both hands. Sadly, when I use my left hand, it looks like a first grader wrote it.

I totally know what you mean. I mean, I'm right handed, so everyone assumes that I masturbate with my right hand. I don't; my left is my go-to hand for self stimulation. Frankly, I feel discriminated against.

I want a support group or something!

A left handed person is called sinistral (as opposed to dextral), which derives from the latin 'sinister.' I think the latins were just jealous.

There is also a correlation between Homosexuality and Sinistra. It's so much that the fraternal birth order effect (the psychological theory that the more fraternal older brothers an individual has, the more likely he will be gay) only applies to dextral males.

And while there is that discrimination prevalent you mentioned, being left-handed certainly makes mutual masturbation that much more convenient, aside from the clanging of biceps . .

And as a PS, I have a picture already in my profile asserting my sinistra, so you can take that as verification for the left-handed forum! ;)

lol...it's not only that...it is said that left-handers' brain is usually more holistically developed as compared to right-handers (Ramblings: WOOHOO .... GO US LEFTIES!!!). Moreover unlike right-handers, who uses the left side of the brain more, left-handers use both side of the brain in equal amounts.

This is because the left side of the brain tends more towards thinking and logic unlike the right side, which deals a lot more on creativity and imagination. In right-handers, the right side is usually predominant over the left side. Thus, they're working the left brain more - to control and to think. Lefties on the other hand, usually have the left side as more dominant than the right. As such, both sides of the brain is worked equally - right for control, left to think.

    I guess that's why left-handers are sometimes very creative ... icon_wink.gif

Lefties are an abomination in the eyes of our Lord Jeebus the Dexterous.

Even the word 'Sinister' came from the latin word for 'Left'. Repent ye sinners! icon_rolleyes.gif

Right handed ironing boards? Can't you just flip it around? I'm more of a fluff it in the drier guy so I'm not sure... I am ambidextrous although my right side is a bit stronger, but my left side takes better pictures so I guess they are even.

Ann B Dexterous? Wasn't she the housekeeper on the Brady Bunch?

Why did they even need a housekeeper? Carol didn't work.

I'm ambidextrous myself; of course my writing with my left hand is that of a 4th grader, but still it functions in every other way possible as good as my right hand. I'm mostly a righty, and also right brained!

But yeah, there should be more left hand/both hands friendly products out there. Like left handed knives, left handed q-tips, left handed postage stamps if you don't want to put the stamp on the top right anymore, left hand lube, left handed dildos, and left handed hand guns. Lol, j/k... but yeah, there needs to be more left handed stuff out there.
