Oh puhleeze!!! That's nothing. If he can do that and use the pedals at the same tine, then I'll be impressed.

Wow that was something. Every time I see people who have to overcome so many problems so as to achieve anything at all that it makes me feel that being gay is not at all tough. I want to say so much more but am way too emotional right now to write more.

Well he can control pedals if he used his butt and a pressure transducer, one for each glut, too bad he can't use both the soft and the sustain pedals at the same time--or can he?...icon_smile.gif

No idea. I only understand Japanese, but not Chinese. I couldn't find an English sub version yet.

initially i thought the headline said AIMless pianist wows crowd. and i thought they were all stoned and he was playing the middle jams from any given phish song. clearly, i was mistaken. this is far more impressive.

That's a beautiful piano piece he's playing. Anyone know the name of the composition?? Very inspiring!

I don't read simplified Chinese but from what I can tell, he was playing hide-and-seek with a friend and somehow got electrocuted and was touch-and-go for about 45 days.

Way to make me feel like a dick. I promised myself I'd learn to play the violin 8 years ago. I still don't know a damn thing and I have no excuse.

I feel you...I even took piano lessons when I was little, and I don't play nearly as well....icon_neutral.gif

The sustain pedal is really too long (all kinds of jarring notes), and he'll never play a true legato or a chord with more than 4 notes in it.
My sister liked to play Richard Clayderman too and I hated her for it. icon_evil.gif

Challenge your brain and you can develop some amazing skills. Yeah the JO think came to mind too. Hope fully he has a partner to help him out.
    More power to him.
There was an American gal who was on 60 minutes when I was a teenager '78(?) who was peeling potatoes and making meals for her family w/her feet. Thalidomide baby/syndrome I think. She drove a car (automatic) and all w/o arms. I knew several people who had issues from that drug that heir mom took for morning sickness in the late 50's and early 60's. One was a USFS district Ranger and the rest had pretty impoverished and hopeless lives. Glad that has change a little bit.

Here's the English sub. Seems like it was some kind of electrical accident.

This was really beautiful but I can't help to think someone going "Hey. HEY YOU. Yeah I'm talking to you. You know what? You SUCK. In fact, you suck so much that, even if I cut my arms off, I'd STILL be better than you. Yeah. You don't believe me? No? *SLICE* *play perfect piano* HOWCHU LIKE THAT. BITCH".
