    An odd story. I'm far from a supporter of Ms. Coulter, but it does kind of make you think a bit when Ann Coulter is considered too left-wing by the GOP movement.

    Or too controversial, likely to make some outrageous statements that will eclipse the rest of the gathering, and focus anger on them. Or maybe they really are this fucked-up. Most right-wing groups today are.

    According to the event organizer, the given reason is because she is to speak at a conservative gay event.

    "Ultimately, as a matter of principle, it would not make sense for us to have Ann speak to a conference about 'taking America back' when she clearly does not recognize that the ideals to be espoused there simply do not include the radical and very 'unconservative' agenda represented by GOProud,"
