THE 2012 PHENOMENON and FACTUAL events of our solar system

I realize there is very little we can do to prove the earth will go through a physical transformation and evidence shows the last event was obviously not destructive 5000 years ago. I was watching 2012 the documentary and finding regardless of what happens to the earth it is an incredible event we are about to witness astronomically... and think of all the technology we have on our side this time around.

I found this on Wikipedia: "A New Age interpretation of this transition posits that during this time Earth and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation, and that 2012 may mark the beginning of a new era.[4] Others suggest that the 2012 date marks the end of the world or a similar catastrophe. Scenarios posited for the end of the world include the Earth's collision with a passing planet (often referred to as "Nibiru") or black hole, or the arrival of the next solar maximum."

In some additional research I have been primarily interested in the factual information we have on Jupitor's history of being a burned out white dwarf and that it is very likely that our solar system was reconfigured either with our suns solar system or Jupitor's solar system. I read it is very likely that our solar system has at one point transformed during this event where our sun reaches the center of the galaxy where it is also believed that stars tend to be born or burn out.

I'm wondering if even in spite of all the downplay of evidence that NASA has been doing if there were any people here that still find this event to be something spectacular be around to witness? I have very limited knowledge of astronomy but, I still find that I have a deep understanding of the relationship I have with the universe not only mentally but, metaphysically as well. Though I am not much of an astrologer I wonder if these signs may reveal some major underlying truth.

I am more prone to believe that the earth was part of the sun's previous solar system and Jupitor is five billion years old. It is believed also that the sun has 5 billion years left at which time the galaxy will die. John Debes simulates an evolved Solar System. This means the Sun has run out of hydrogen in its core in 4-5 billion years time, puffed up into a huge, angry red giant (eating up all the inner planets, from Mercury to the Earth), and then ejected its plasma into space, forming a vast planetary nebula. What is left behind is a white dwarf where the Sun used to be and the outer planets are orbiting at an expanded distance from the Sun. Like now, Jupiter will still wield its gravitational dominance, influencing the gravity of the asteroid population continuing to orbit the dense white dwarf Sun.

    OK Jerred, I'll play.

The end of the Mayan calendar is like end of this year's calendar - you go out and get a new one.

In astrology The age of aquarius started a little while ago and that was supposedly going to change the world etc etc etc and things just continued.

Take a look at this. The Mayan calendar is really just a much larger one than our annual one.

There's a danger to trusting in primitive systems.

The aztecs charted the black spaces between the stars at night. Take a look at the bold type:

"Why was the Aztec Empire taken so quickly by the Europeans led by Cortez? There are many factors to consider in answering such a question. Of the most important is the time in which Cortez entered into Tenochtitlan. Prior to his arrival, the Aztec had seen many astrological phenomena which seemed to portend the collapse of the empire itself. These portents of doom ranged from a comet seen in the day time, to the destruction of two temples. In addition to these omens of doom, Cortez arrived at harvest time, when the Aztec were generally not prepared for war, although there were battles. Also, the Tlaxcalans helped Cortez fight the Aztecs. Also, the Aztecs believed that the god Quetzalcoatl was going to return and destroy the Aztec empire. Quetzalcoatl was seen as a man with light hair, and light colored skin, and it was thought by the Aztec, that Cortez was the returning Quetzalcoatl. Outbreaks of epidemics also helped to weaken the Aztecs. As a result of all of these factors, the Aztec were ripe for an invasion, and Cortez succeeded in decimating the once great Aztec empire."

...and here's a little cautionary song with lyrics:

meninlove, did you read a thing I just wrote? This is NOT about the mayan calendar... It is already Scientifically proven that we are entering the center of our galaxy 5000 years since our last entrance... Doesn't that mean ANYTHING to you?

Please guys... There is nothing about superstition, I have been relying upon facts when it comes to the joy I feel in being able to witness the most incredible show of MANY MANY lifetimes... I just so happen to be alive during the right one. The revelations to Science ARE going to be phenomenal!

Whoops, sorry Jerred, We were away from the computer planning a late dinner.

Our post was regarding this part of your post, not you yourself.

Sorry, I didn't purposely mean to include that part... I did make it clear that there is no evidence of running into another solar system. I highly doubt that with our sun having five billion years left to live. ISN'T IT JUST FUCKING BEAUTIFUL???

I tend to think that something spectacular - maybe even catastrophic - is going to happen in late 2012. We already know the sun is entering it's solar maximum, and it capable of producing solar flares larger than we're used to...and that could disrupt a lot of our technology. I also have a feeling that IF something catastrophic were scientifically proven to happen, the govt's would suppress the information as much as they could to avoid mass chaos.

But I really don't "know" much more than that...just speculation. I do know that if another planet were approaching, it would already be visible in the night sky right now since it takes several years for a planet to travel through our solar system.

GOD don't think so negatively... OF COURSE WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY!!! And I don't care if we get down to finding microscopes, I REALLY believe as physical human beings we were MEANT FOR THIS!

I'm not thinking negatively. I'm thinking unbiasedly based on the information I've been presented. The only reliable opinion I have on the matter is that whatever happens will be remembered for a long time to come.

The only negative thoughts I have are based on fact. Such as today, when a very fast-moving thunderstorm was literally chasing me through the sky, and I could barely outrun it in this slow fucking plane I fly. It caught up with me once but I managed to zig-zag my way out of the wind shaft. Things like that make me wonder if I'll even live to see 2012, or next year for that matter. icon_lol.gif

Let your MIND expand brother! We are literally moving at the same pace we have moved throughout 5000 BILLION years already... WE KNOW WHERE WE ARE GOING AND WHEN!!! Even if there was a planetary collision it is the mind of existence that will not be going anywhere... Hell we couldn't jump as a team off the planet if we tried yet... I believe we are something very special. I am NOT afraid to become spirit... I have been there all along anyways. Nothing religious, this is an awakening of KNOWLEDGE and I am NOT afraid to grow anymore.

One more thing... I have to confess I believe Jupitor MAY not be burned out completely... I am not that knowledgeable on whether Jupitor reflects the sun or is actually still giving off light of it's own.

Stop this insanity ! This whole thing is merely about a POINT OF OBSERVATION ! From earth it APPEARS we are lined up with the center of our galaxy as we gaze out into that center. Our solar system does not enter it, we orbit around it. This alignment OBSERVATION started in 1998 and continues for some years. All these movies and History channel fright docudramas are for making money and selling what they sell during the commercials ! The Mayans did not stop their calendar at all. We just have not found the lost parts of it yet! Their civilization died off because they over farmed their land and ran out of water and so dispersed. They did not disappear. Spiritually they theorized these points on the calendar did portend great change and a jump in evolution. That has been happening since at least 1998 and is accelerating with our financial collapse and subsequent restructure of our economy etc. But on Dec. 21 2012 there will be no cataclysm, no destruction except of the profits of all these fearful shows. Mayans never meant to imply the world ends because they didnt finish their calendar or we didnt find the next 5000 years of it yet. They meant it may be a period of great change in thinking and look around, is that not happening and been happening for at least 10 years ? We are accelerating changes in our culture as we think in new ways. In so doing we are evolving quite rapidly toward something new and I trust better over the next 10 to 20 years.

BUD, you obviously MISSED out on Copernicus... I feel sorry for you. Did you not think technology was moving right along? Again, the Mayans have VERY little to do with the Scientific facts. You sound like someone trying to convert us to your own religious beliefs... FUCK the Mayans brother.
