Regardless of one's "belief" in climate change, this is the undiscussed other side of the same coin. Well worth a read - dare we hope that our current congress could take a few moments from their inertia, bloviating, electioneering and finger-pointing to have an intelligent discussion on something so important?

Probably not... so more "years for the locusts to eat" while nothing happens.

You're probably kidding...we missed our chance with Al Gore.
If Congress (not just Republicans) can't even agree to sign something like the Kyoto Protocol (which by no means guarantees any change in global warming), and can't think even 20 years ahead (with their current wrangling about healthcare and SS) because it's all about the next election, why would they spend half a minute thinking about global resources?

Ooooooh But it snowed last winter and it's hot this summer
so that means that climate change can't be for real... right?
