Just out of curosity.Do any of you watch Soap Operas? If so which ones? I have never cared for them nor really had a desire to watch them until I recently oh a couple months ago overheard two guys talking about "As The World Turns" (while at the grocery store), and the gay characters Luke and Noah, well after being curious about their conversation, I began watching it. I'm hooked now, yet it goes off the air in a few weeks. I think they have done a good job of Gay characters and storyline.

Definitely, "As the World Turns" fan here... my cousin hooked me on it when I was in law school and we were in the dorms. I think my Dad made the most fun about it.

I did watch "One Life to Live" when they had the gay couple there, but now I boycott it since they terminated the storyline (claiming it wasn't very popular.)
The "Bold and the Beautiful" is ok, but a little over the top.

Very sorry to see ATWT going off in a few weeks. It will be missed.

The only one I watch is an Argentine one called ''Bontineras'' that focuses on the life of football players. Two of the lead males are in a love story, and have hot scenes together.

This clip is of them getting caught by a teammate making out in the shower

PS: Sorry the embedding isn't working on my comp at the moment

Another World and The Edge of Night.

I spent much of my early childhood raised by nuns and after lunch we would rapidly clean up in time to watch the soaps.

I do!!!!!!!! Soaps are totally my vice. I am a die hard fanatic of One Life to Live, Young and the Restless, and General Hospital!! I live and breathe my soaps!

Yeah they have done a good job of bringing gay characters on to soaps. My favorite is actually Rafe on Y&R because they did not make a big deal out of it. He just happened to be gay. That was it. Fish and Oliver on OLTL was pretty good too. I liked how they have a soap storyline for a gay couple. The reason that storyline was axed was because the actors were fired for some unprofessional behavior on set.

Lol Sunset Beach rocked. Was shown here mid-mornings on Channel Five here (which half of the nation couldn't get cos of transmission problems when the channel launched) and was a student cult favourite when I was at uni.

    Totally of the wall surreal.

    Almost art, one might say.

I was in love with Annie.

I was home-schooled for only one year in the sixth grade, usually I was all alone in the house so I'd watch some of them if I needed a break or got bored. This was around puberty, such an awkward time. I think they're so bad, I must have been really bored with my schoolwork.

Marry me? We can watch the Young and the Restless everyday. The Bold and the Beautiful is my favorite.

I started watching Days of our Lives and Another World with my Granddad when I was 4. I moved over to the Young and the Restless in 1995. I started watching the Bold and the Beautiful in 2000.

I met the creators of Santa Barbara when I was in college. It was awesome. It is my dream to write my own soap.
