    Hey guys,

don't know if any one noticed my previous thread about aggression/rage

http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/1092126 but over time It's gotten even more powerful so I decided to focus all my aggression in gym, Im pretty certain it's probably an overdose of testosterone in my system that makes me almost want to punch a hole in the wall or someone's face.

.. Today however was different there was so much intensity in my lifting today, I reach a point where I almost wanted to puke but I don't have regrets and would till do it again, IT was really fun getting all that rage out although I still feel quite aggressive and testy after that.

anyone else experience or know more about this puking sensation?

Been there twice. Only on leg day. My pt likes to hit the legs with a lot of intensity. The first time it was after running sprints at the end of my workout. He even took a photo of me puking on his phone. The second was after super sets on the hacksquat.

It's nothing i look forward to or try to emulate. It just happened.

I'm pretty sure this is from Lactic acid buildup. I happens to me if I'm off the gym for 2-3 weeks and I do a leg day too hard, too soon. After my mexico trip, my first workout was so bad that I had to sit in my car for about 20 minutes to regain composure. I felt ill, and somewhat delirious. I was fully hydrated, and had eat'n before my workout. I don't like that feeling.

I hypothesized that as well the last time it happened to me. It seems logical that lactic acid would be the culprit.

OP, as for channeling your aggression, you might talk to your doctor about ways to manage it. Working out can be a good outlet for aggression but can sometimes make it worse. Your mind can make the connection between the chemical and other rewards you get from working out, and the aggression itself. In other words, it can make you more angry and aggressive, which doesn't sound like what you want.

The football coaches back at my high school used to say (scream) "Anyone who doesn't puke isn't trying hard enough."

I think I still hate those guys.

I'm thrown up many a time from intense leg workouts. It is a build up of lactic acid around the stomach that makes one want to puke and it usually occurs with leg workouts as they are the largest muscle group of the body and therefore will produce the most lactic acid when worked intensely. One way to attempt combatting throwing up is to lay on the floor on your back and put your legs up on a bench. Then breathe in your nose and out your mouth slowly until your stomach calms.

Haha when I used to train pro wrestling puking was a normal thing.

Really, I've never heard of this puking thing after workouts! Doesn't happen to me, however... does anyone else get the urge to take a piss when lifting heavy with the legs?

Interesting, and more interestingly this was my upper bod day however due to agression I was able to lift ultra heavy for my category. my workouts were super intense with form as the main focus, I was rowing 210 lbs x 10 reps when I first felt this and I did feel it through out my other exercise, it was a good day though felt like I gave it my 150% without sacrificing form.

As for aggression, SDD is right gym does aggravate my aggression more so, for now Im emotionally mature enough to withdraw from situations to cool off (like going into a corner so i dont punch my jackass colleague in the face icon_biggrin.gif) but Im starting to like it since I normally channel it to overcome obstacles.

Yeah...only time I've every ACTUALLY puked (and not just felt like it) was after wrestling practice.

I feel like I'm going to puke after most workouts.

I know it's a good thing I just finished eating before I saw this thread! icon_lol.gif
But srsly, I work myself to the point of nearly puking every workout. It's a habit I picked up in US Navy Boot Camp, and have carried that habit with me ever since. I just don't feel like it was good workout unless I push myself right up to the edge every time.

Oh and working out on a full stomach tends to speed up that process, so I try not to do that too often.

Depends on how much water I'm drinking. Since legs are the largest muscle groups, I tend to drink more water on leg days, so yes, I piss about every 15 minutes during my leg workouts.

It hasn't happened for years, but I've puked a few times during and after workouts; particularly leg workouts. My understanding is that it can happen when you haven't trained before and are training really hard OR if you've been training but suddenly up the intensity a great deal. That was my experience too - it occurred when I first lifted weights in my teens and then again in my twenties when I worked with a trainer that pushed me REALLY hard.

I try to push myself to the limit at every workout. On average I will vomit about once or twice a week during workouts. icon_redface.gif
Usually during legs and chest days. But if you do, DO NOT stop. Take some deep breaths, then continue the workout.
    Cheers,
    Keith

I've puked twice during workouts at my gym. As a matter of fact, my gym gives out a pukie t-shirt whenever you do! It's worn as a badge of honor. Crossfit baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've felt like puking after a couple of leg workouts, but it's not a pleasant experience, and I stop working out until it passes, usually about 10 minutes.

never puked in a gym, that's nasty, but did have nausea ( no puking though , just spasms ) after races or hard hill training.
what are you doing with all that food in your stomach when you need your blood for your muscles ? the stomach always looses , common knowledge.
