Ok, i'm not usually one to post threads and i'll try to be as diplomatic as possible but i have noticed a trend here, as have other 'mature' men, with an attitude that runs with some of the younger guys on RJ. There appears to be a sort of neuroses about us guys contacting younger guys, as if, as one member put it ' we're tryiing to get into your pants". This site to me, is more than a fuck and suck hookup, it is a site where guys share so many common interests, not just being gay and having sex, age should be no barrier when you want to talk to someone. We all have somethiing to offer, try listening and keep an open mind. I have several young friends on here that are mature beyond their years and are just fun to chat with. Some have offered me invaluable support and advice on coming out and joining the gay side of life. Some like more mature guys. So if you leave your porch lite (IM) on, then expect people to come knocking, otherwise turn the fukken thing off.icon_cool.gif

    Poignant thread.

Unfortunately it's been consistently made already on these forums for the past 4 years or so.

I've never thought of this "neurosis" nor have I really witnessed this with other RJ members. I talk to a variety of guys here, never been limited by age, interest, location, etc. I probably get messaged more than the reverse, but always welcome good dialogue and conversation.

I don't try to get in anyone's pants. Instead, I try to get them in mine. icon_twisted.gif

Another 'get over yourself' instance. The forum policemen (and there are many) who just HAVE to tell someone how many other forums there may or may not be on the same subject.

Thank you, but it's not really necessary for you to show either how long you've been a RJ Forum regular, or to try to make someone who might be newer feel stupid for not having the intricate knowledge of all things Forums that you obviously do.

    Get. Over. Yourself.

    That is all.
