Its sad but we need to learn that our obsession with perfection of the male form often drives this disease in others. Healthy body-image is just as if not more important that being statuesque model of manliness. I know once upon a time it affected my self esteem and I fell on pot to deal. Not my healthiest or proudest hour. We as a country need to promote health and not airbrushed perfection. What do you guys think?

No offense, I doubt many pot addicts starve themselves to death. Get over yourself asshole!, This is a disease - ugly and fat are not!

Whoa dude, somebody didn't put sugar in your cereal this morning!

I think you misunderstand what the poster was talking about. He was saying that he dealt with the pressures of living up to a certain body image and the way he dealt with it was using pot. Others deal by over eating, or drinking, or cutting. The moral of the story is we need to be more conscious as a society not to stigmatize others.

Kepa: I was talking about self-destructive behaviour and was saying I sympathize with people with alot of demons.

FURTHERMORE, After reading alot of what you have posted dude, I find you to be crude, rude and just plain superfluous. If you do not have anything productive and intelligent to say, its like Abraham Lincoln said, " Its better to keep ones mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt" You need to post more intelligent responses without the junior high attitude.

rioriz: Thanks buddy for seeing my train of thought.

I see this and am reminded of the loss of Karen Carpenter. We three boys were raised on her music and my mama always said NEVER to tease a girl about her body because you never know what it does to them...she shoulda said dudes too eh? Oy vey.

And you are the Queen of the ''fem bitches'' who try to appear masculine when you clearly aren't and obviously haven't played a sport in years.

Oh, an an STD looks more welcoming then your face. Your shit is broken!

It's not a perception of perfection, it's a mental illness. Those 1200 pound people think they are a normal size too.

True, but from what I have seen, there is always a trigger...constant hounding of our youth could be part of the catalyst...Trying to research it. My curiosity is peaked now...

That's a pretty messed up way to die. What sort of perfection was he trying to attain for him to waste away to nothing? icon_confused.gif
