Oh great, another bullshit rationalization for why gay men are bad.

I've had sex with both women and men. Having sex with a woman (vagina sex) always leave me fulfilled. It's hard to explain, I just feel great and renewed after having sex with a woman. Topping a guy has always been just about the passion and getting off more than anything else. It's fun, but it never leaves me feeling like I do when I have sex with women.

I've bottomed a few times and I always have felt de-engergized after anal sex. As if my energy was taken from me by the top, and I always notice myself not acting like myself when I bottom. I always feel like a piece of me gets taken each time, which is why I don't bottom anymore.

That article doesn't make any sense to me.

For being the supposed masters of Tantric sex, those people don't seem very creative.

The article is total bullshit. Poorly written too. I don't even completely understand what the point is they're getting at.

Oh, and it looks like our troll has deleted his profile in record time... damnit I thought I was being funny as his username was "Problemo"

Anyway, this is the biggest obstacle in my life regarding my sexuality. I grew up in a yogi family and human sexuality was very open to my siblings and I as long as it was heterosexual.

The article itself may not be a piece of art, but it summarizes a lot of things that are written in Taoism and Sanskrit writings.

The only person who can figure out what is going to fulfill you sexually and personally is yourself and your partner(s).

These are the views of one group of people. I understand you grew up hearing them, but you can choose to agree with them or not, it's your life, not anyone else's.

P.S. I'm sick of hearing about how gay sex is bad. Sex for pleasure (and not procreation) is for PLEASURE, gay or straight, and it makes no sense that one would be acceptable and one not. Unless you're proclaiming your belief that sex should be for procreation only, then I don't want to hear your anti-gay-sex rants. Grrrr.... icon_evil.gif

I'm not proclaiming any belief, only sharing an aspect that I want to know more educated opinions on, if there any.

I'm curious about the Sanskrit writings you are referring to.The website, while mentioning the non-sexual aspects of Tantric philosophy, is designed to make it seem as if the ultimate object of tantric philosophy is sexual athleticism. Which is not true. I think we should remember that the movement/philosophy did not just appear in a complete form. It evolved.

And if I remember correctly, your pure energy is not asleep in your 'rectum'.

Well the Tantic images on temples do have multiple females engaging in caressing and touching, never without at least a male, but its not like there is no homo-erotic overtone in it

    Khajurahao.gif

Plus not to mention Hindu culture is extremely male-dominated, so it more likely has to do with that than actual energy lines....

How many bottoms feel drained around here anyway?

Plus not to mention many Chinese emperors and Indian rajas had male concubines also....

In the Kama Sutra there are lengthy discussion of what a eunuch can do to please a man also, it gives precise instructions for a eunuch on how to perform oral sex to maximum satisfaction

One more item to show that sex is Power

Where by the maleforce or the fucker is "Good" and the receiver .... the male receiving anal sex or the woman being fucked is "Bad"

It's what allows fucked up religions to wrap themselves in misogyny
    and homophobia
    so whoever might be responsible?

HI Andre_SD, like all religions, you should take them as allegorical in nature and not literally. All of them spring from a time when infant mortality was very very high and lots of procreation was the only way any groups survived. It was also a lot easier to indoctrinate children into faiths than adults (who could think for themselves). Not surprisingly, homosexuality received a less than boisterous welcome.

Remember this when considering any faith's view on heterosexuality vs homosexuality. As well, it's a good idea to consider that without birth control (which none of them had) teaching the joys of sex made the act of procreation even more fun and desirable.

Some faiths took the 'only have sex for children it's your duty to god' road, and some (like the one you mention) did the 'get them hooked on sex and the kid's will happen' approach.

Any religion that looks askance at a group that cannot help the way they are is immediately and alarmingly suspect.

Thus the reason I use a lower case c when I label myself as christian. Upper case must be earned and they haven't done so. icon_wink.gif

Hmmm, this not religion though... meninlove... this is about the energy channels in the body, which is based on philosophies found within Hidusim, but it more similar to chinese acupuncture.. which is based on Taoist philosophy, but is not religious in nature

It is, though, supernatural, and that puts it pretty close to religious belief.

Hmmm, I disagree for the simple reason that yoga nor acupuncture are based on anything supernatural... for me "supernatural' is a difficult term, its more of a western term really, for things that seem "miraculous" and "unatural" like virgin births or walking on water... yoga and acupuncture dont lead to miraculous healings of any kind.. and they do are not based on the use of faith and prayer in a deity (NOTE!!! they never require faith and prayer is simply a possible adjunct, whereas in the western mind, faith is the very basis of religion!!!)

but yes, its hard to grasp the nature of Eastern medicine from a western perspective, which is much less wholistitc, and has a strict separation between the scientific and pure faith-based systems.. the two are much more integrated in eastern thought ... it is impossible to discuss it with Western terms really, everything is lost in interpretation and translation

that's right, as we are energy beings with male and female polarities.

And it's also very true that male homosexuality isn't a new in hinduism. I am going to go deeper in taoism and figure more, see if indeed it's the website making things up.
