Has anyone else started the craze of running barefoot? i started a little over a month ago.. and have no attention to ever running in shoes again. Vibrams or going barefoot have corrected my back pain..

Standing at 6'5 and carrying close to 240 lbs I thought back pain was going to be a part of my life forever

until i made the logical switch to running the way evolution has designed us to run

if your against running barefoot.. then you obviously have not read.. the countless studies that prove its better for you.

Running barefoot is better on a soft surface, but not on concrete, asphalt, and other hard surfaces.
And I thought this thread was going to be about running "bare" - as in nude. I tried that for a few steps but it hurt my balls. icon_lol.gif

I got Vibrams, because I have flat feet that kill my knees and hips when I run. Great purchase! No more pain. I wear my Vibrams for more than just the gym and cardio. They work. Back to nature...skip all the cushioning, because it becomes a crutch and you don't even know it til you get rid of the running shoes!
