I disagree when he says that "straight acting" is being compared to acting the "right way" and being "gay acting" the "wrong way." Nobody is saying they are in the right by saying they are "straight acting." They're just saying that they act straight (maybe they comment on girls' breasts, or find some other way to fit in with heteros by acting hetero). The people I hear say they are "straight acting" are generally new to being gay, and they just have their own stereotypes in their mind about what being gay is all about. I prefer men who are masculine, and don't generally hang out with people who are feminine or flamboyant. Then again, none of my friends ever claim to be "straight acting" either.
